Just wondering if anyone else buys random movies because they're cheap, and if they do, what are they? A local rental store was getting rid of videos (by selling them for $2 each) and I picked up...

I remember liking it when I saw it years ago and frantically looking for it on DVD but not finding it. Not a bad flick.

I didn't mind him, but then again I've never seen any of his other stuff. He wasn't great, but he wasn't horrible either.

You usually get what you pay for, but I remember getting some great $5 deals. I just recently got Munich and War of the Worlds for that price at the local vid store. Good times.

You usually get what you pay for
Occasionally, but there are some decent movies on that list. I also got Donnie Darko, Fight Club, Star Wars (original ep. 4), Goodfellas, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, and Army of Darkness for $1 each on video a while back. Of course, I've repurchased some of these on DVD (Fight Club, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, and Army of Darkness, to be exact), but they were still really good flicks for hardly any cash.

Yeah. A lot of people talk bad about DVD clubs like Columbia House, but I rarely ever pay full price for DVDs, even after they add on the shipping.
