When I was 10 my parents bought me a Barbie rock star set with a mic to channel my need to sing. I think it's totally cute that Paris, who has the same mentality as I did at 10 but lots more sex and money, can get the same thing out of her system in her twenties.

I love the title of that song "Stars are Blind". What the fuck does that mean? It's like the poetry contests in middle school where you get the kid that tries to be all out there when in fact it means nothing.

It's like she made a bunch of electronic music in FL studio and then her producers thought, "you know, we should probably have somebody singing in this song or something like that"
So they threw together some psuedo-metaphorical lyrics plagarized from 6th grade girls' diaries and had her sing it and then slap it on top of the music then put some snazzy effects over it.

It's really sad how popular she is. For example, the other day I quoted Mallrats (as I frequently do) by saying "Damn, that's hot!" (from the Stan Lee conversation) and somebody started talking about Paris Hilton. In my town, no one but my friends and I know about Mallrats or Clerks II, yet everyone but my friends and I know about Paris Hilton.
