Do you guys think AS should get there own network?

Theres no doubt AS is a good program, and it seems that they got the shit. People tell me that they should get there own network, but I think that would kill there program and there uniqueness. They would become big then have to sell out. In my opinion I think they need to acquire Simpsons and South Park and a bunch of anime junk, to save there saturday lineup. That alone would boost there ratings, but still keep it same old AS. I mean it would be cool to get AS there own network, but they got a cult status among animation industry, and frankly its what sets them apart.

[adultswim] is their own network. Their ratings are seperate from CTN, sorry, Cartoon Network and their support staff are completely seperate from CTN's support staff.

hi all, i have just discovered (ADULT SWIM) and i cant get enough of it, it is so funny, i didnt know they showed it in the uk, but its on late at night. I think having it's own network would be great and if it does happen i hope we fans in the uk get it too.

[adultswim] is it's own network. There is a difference between network and channel. Cartoon Network goes off the air, Tues-Sun at 10:30pm and [adultswim] takes it's place until 6am. There are no plans currently to make [adultswim] completely seperate from CTN. Because ASWM is a seperate, adult orientated network that airs late night, KidVid laws don't apply, but the rules would apply during hours when kids could be watching, we'd have to air more kid-friendly fare during the day.It would basically be a second Cartoon Network. There is something in the works though, that I can't really talk about yet, but there will be a way eventually to get [adultswim] 24 hours a day.

[adult swim] is something I only watch a few times a month. If I watch it ever single day, it can get really boring, really fast.

Naw, I watch all their crap like Venture Bros., Tom Goes to The Mayor etc, etc, etc. Not that I don't like any of the shows, but they can get boring to me if I go on a binge.
