Not exactly the next Robot Chicken or Venture Bros., but the first episode was pretty funny. The outlines for future episodes all sounded pretty solid, too. After the awkward (in my opinion) opening minutes, it got really good (In my opinion in got much better about the time they needed food and realized all the chefs were dead. After that it was extremely entertaining). Any comments?

I was REALLY surprised. I've always liked the show, but I've never had the desire to (specifically) watch it every week. That will be changing. Especially since the new Venture Bros. season is almost up.:(

Sure they have made some shit in that time too, but Venture Bros., Frisky Dingo, Sealab 2021, Harvey Birdman, and this thread's namesake are some of the funniest shows I have ever seen. I think people will look back to this period in the years to come and only then realise how good they had it.

It just seems like the channel's toying with its viewers sometimes. I really wish they would have kept Stroker and Hoop for another season or two instead of those shows. I'm just happy they have the [as] fix, because I'm not willing to watch a lot of crap just to see some of my favorite shows (although I'm totally willing to watch anything so I can see Venture Bros.).

A parody of 70's Land of the Lost and HR Puffenstuff fare is so obscure that its kinda awesome. Plus Trey Parker does some of the songs for the show.

Of all of those, give Squidbillies a try... Its kind of like being american and watching the British version of the office. The dialogue flies by so quickly that you kind of have to adapt to the tempo of the humor before you get it.
