I've been keeping track of this movie for a while, and I could have sworn that I posted a link to the production journal here somewhere. I can't find it.

Frank Miller's "300" is being made into a feature, directed by Zack Snyder (Dawn of the Dead remake). Since Zack also recently signed with Warner to direct "Watchmen," it's of particular interest to comic fans how this movie turns out.

So far, (http://300themovie.warnerbros.com/index.html) I have yet to see anything that has made me less than pumped for this movie, or what Zack is capable of as a director. Check it out.

Well I don;t know 300 but if its action based then I believe he'll come up with some nice set peices. It will be a chance to, as you said, review his ability to adapt comics, Watchmen is a very story driven affair, though rumours of that movie have always made me wonder what Rorsarch's Fabric Mask would be like if it really existed.

They showed a presentation reel of this at Comic Con and it FUCKING BLEW THE CROWD away. In fact, they showed it twice just to get the people to relax. Absolutely amazing. I am really digging Miller's imposition of his visual style on the adaptations of his work and from the looks of things, this is going to make Sin City look like the work of amatuers. :D
