I could go on and on, but I'm getting sucked in to the memories- east Texas in the fall, crisp air, the bronze sunlight of a dying Friday afternoon, cruising in a Chevy, going nowhere, waiting for the stars to come out.

It was 1988 and I was born about 15 years too late but damn! Those days... it amazes me how music- just a few notes can be so heavily associated with a memory... not even a memory- an impression of time that has slipped by. These songs aren't even from my time, but it is what I was listening to as a teenager.
