Anyone hear of them? They caught my attention last year when someone on another board I frequent was constantly putting up banners for them in his sigs. My fiance was able to get their latest album Ascendancy (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000F8DSSI/sr=8-1/qid=1151943141/ref=sr_1_1/102-2800762-0460143?ie=UTF8) and I was blown away. As he describes it, it's kinda like death metal, though not as dark and more melodic. My favorite track is Pull Harder on the Strings of your Martyr but the whole album is well worth playing from start to finish.

yes... trivium is awsome.... ascendency is deffinatly an amazing album and i cannot wait till there new one...... the dueling guitars by matt and corey are insane!!!!!! and the dueling screaming then to the amazing and melodic singing..... an amazing band.... truely amazing

The melodic singing is what peaked my interest in them initially. Specifically on Pull Harder... where I first noticed it. I'm looking forward to their new album as well :)
