Any CDs you picked up for cheap or out of boredom that you now love? I got a couple...

Nirvana- From the Muddy Banks of WishKah (Just picked it up for $3 at a garage sale and love it. I'm really impressed. It happens to be my first Nivana CD)
Clutch- Pure Rock Fury
Kiss- The Very Best of Kiss (The $5 CD that turned me into an avid fan of one of the greatest bands of all time)
Kiss- Destroyer (Listened to an old burned copy from my cousin and fell in love with the band. I listened to it at least 6 times that night. Made me buy the above CD)
System of a Down- Toxicity (The CD that turned out to be my gateway into metal/hard rock)

Anyway, just thought this might be a good idea. Guess we'll see.

Not to derail, but is it my imagination or do you change your avatar everyday?

Yeah, I'm trying to find one I like enough to keep. So far I can only use 80X80 pixels, so I try to find cool small ones but I can't find any good enough to keep. If it lets me use up to 100X100 soon I have one picked out to use with Ren and Stimpy. Anyway, for now, my avatar is my business and your entertainment.

I just wanted to make sure. I wasn't sure if you were changing them or if there were a few newbies with comic avatars. I notice the avatar more than the name. I swore it was Captain America before and was going to use the quote "it's not like throws shield well looks good on a resume" and it was gone.

Yeah it's me. Like I said, I have a really cool Ren and Stimpy one I want to use but until then I'll have to find something else. First it was Homer, then Cap, now Rapheal. Oh, and nice Captain America comment too, very clever.

It's from Powerhouse Animation's "Heroes" which was Clerks with Capt. America as Dante and Daredevil as Randall. My all time favorite random line is from that. Silver Surfer (Jay) walks in with Galactus (Silent Bob) and says "The devourer of worlds craves a moon pie."

I was in a Hot Topic one day looking at bumper stickers, as they have some cool ones, and saw this CD by My Ruin called "Speak & Destroy". I wasn't too into that type of tear out your throat screaming metal, but I really liked their stuff. I have all of their albums now.

Same scenario with this other group. It was a CD by Collide called "Chasing the Ghost". Not being the Goth type, I really wasn't sure I would like the songs, but I was bored and I liked the cover art. I now have all of their CDs too.

How would one go about viewing this little piece of cinema?

I went looking for a link, but couldn't find one easily. Powerhouse took it off their main page since it's a few years old. If I come across it in my travels, I will post it.

Thanks. I spent a little while looking for it, this morning, but only found dead links. It appears to have vanished. I fear forces dark and mysterious may be at play.

I think that I might have the swf saved somewhere. I'll look around to see if I can find it and post it on some random fileshare site.

And for the topic at this thread
