well turns out the movers who moved us here can seem to move a truckload full of 10,000 pounds of our stuff in three days...
but it takes 2 weeks for a damn minivan...
sure its real tough to get from one place to another... i mean the fact that it has 4 wheels and it's very own engine doesnt really help either.
so we are getting the van tomorrow
which means today...
we got a rental car
great... <_<
it was one of those new fancy Mitsubishimonsushi cars that posed a striking resemblance to a dodge magnum. which means...it sucks

for one thing you couldnt see out any of the back windows to save your life because style is more important than safety we all know that...the windows were just so small!!!
it was annoying.
and when we left the car out in the heat for 15 minutes...it heated up to about 110 degrees on the inside thanks to the all-black interior on the inside.
and the big annoyance...my mom has been driving the old minivan for about 15 years now. it has that gear shifting lever right next to the steering wheel, as apposed to other places...
well this car had the shifter right between the two seats...which is pretty typical...but mom just couldnt get used to it. she accidentally kept pulling the lever that was right next to the steering wheel...
...the lever that operates the windshield wipers.

we hate this car so much...but DAMN it's got a clean windshield....

i guess the headlights were good. that's it.

...God if only you could see the windshield...

We can't! It's too damn clean!

Rentals suck.
Last two times I rented a vehicle, both were colossal pieces of shit. Both were U-Hauls... go figure. You know, I never have rented a decent vehicle from them. They've all been crap.

I have only had one good rental which was a bright yellow Ford Escape. It rocked enough that I want to make it my next vehicle. However, I am convinced Ford Focus was designed by migets who like wind up cars.

I had a rental Mazda 6 a few years ago that was a fantastic car. It made me have a totally new opinion about Mazdas in general. I also had a Saturn that made me want to pull off a cliff, and a Jaguar that had a broken heater. That wouldn't be a problem in California normally, unless it's Salinas in December and it actually gets very cold. I also drove a boring Impala in Yuma and a Sable or something in Balitimore (Danger, you would remember. It's the one that I dropped off at the airport before I poured my excessively drunk ass into the flight)

We have the van back today, but it needs new oil...so we gotta drive my dad's minivan...which binges in gasoline.
