*SPOILERS! DEAR GOD SPOILERS!*

NO Really I am going to give away everything so dont read it if you havent seen the movie.

Complaints!
1st. Super-Son? What the crap!? I would have been okay if they had set it up where you were still guessing if his son had killed "Crazy Bald Clown Head" guy or if it was just an accident . Like say if that scene took place during the part where the Ship gets broken in half, did the rock knock the piano into him or did the kid throw it?
Also how creepy was that whole end part with Superman in his "sons" bedroom rehashing the creepy Zen Like BS his dad said to him.

2nd HE DIDNT PUNCH ANYONE! Not a person, tank, or animal. Most scenes were him just picking up heavy thing, or having someone unload a clip at him and then him smiling smugly and we cut away.

3rd Kevin Spacey=Great Actor brought life into the role. BUT The Role of Lex Luthor in this was more like Dr. Evil than Lex Luthor. Lex isnt a front lines kinda guy, we controls things behind the scenes.

4th. The Love Story dragged on and on and on and on. Yeah you knocked her up and then you left the planet, thats why she is pissed off.

5th. The big finish for this movie was him whipping a pointy rock into space! Really? Thats all.

6th. Where was Clark Kent, he tottaly dropped off the face of the earth. What does he do all day? Whats his job? Batman begins gave us a good Bruce Wayne, Superman gave us barely a Clark kent

THe Good
1st The start to the part right after he saves the plane are pure gold. Its great! its action packed, funny, its everything I wanted. That last 3/4 was a mixed bag

2nd HE REALLY IS SUPERMAN/Clark Kent that man had me believing he was superman the whole time. Just perfect

3rd Spacey was great. Just great.

4th Bosworth Damn Fine Lois Lane

5th The effects were great. Same with the Music.

6th I did like that they didnt just come right out and say "Dude he knocked up Lois Lane"

It was very well done. They didn't go overboard with it. Excellent touches with his son.

2nd HE DIDNT PUNCH ANYONE! Not a person, tank, or animal. Most scenes were him just picking up heavy thing, or having someone unload a clip at him and then him smiling smugly and we cut away.

Yeah, another thing I liked about it. No silly punches. Why would Superman punch someone? He would kill them if he did.

3rd Kevin Spacey=Great Actor brought life into the role. BUT The Role of Lex Luthor in this was more like Dr. Evil than Lex Luthor. Lex isnt a front lines kinda guy, we controls things behind the scenes.

Are you feeling okay? Lex was almost perfect.

4th. The Love Story dragged on and on and on and on. Yeah you knocked her up and then you left the planet, thats why she is pissed off.

Yeah, it was a bit too dragged out but not to the point where it bothered me. I just wanted the story to speed up a tad.

5th. The big finish for this movie was him whipping a pointy rock into space! Really? Thats all.

I had no problem with that. It was a setup for him finding out about his son anyway. This movie is not just about how cool something can look or throwing in some flashy ending so people can walk out feeling like they just saw Fantastic 4 - 2.

6th. Where was Clark Kent, he tottaly dropped off the face of the earth. What does he do all day? Whats his job? Batman begins gave us a good Bruce Wayne, Superman gave us barely a Clark kent

Clark Kent is Superman... he went with Superman.

Anyway, I liked it a ton. As good as the first two, for me. I will enjoy owning this one on DVD.

.
Maybe its the age diffrence, MY LEX LUTHOR is a smooth Howard Hughes/Monty Burns/JFK type guy. He is pretty damn smart, all about Capitalism, could run for President if he wanted (didnt he?), and sees Superman as a threat to HIS greatness. While Spacey was darn close, alittle too much Hackman was seeping through for me.

Also what was the deal with his henchmen? they didnt do ANYTHING. Also wasnt one of them from harol and Kumar go to white castle?

I watched that silly TV show two times, so I wouldn't know anything about that Lex.... and I can't say I ever will.

The henchmen did a few things, and yes one of them played Kumar.

TV Show? Do you mean Lois and Clark? No no no no, not THAT P.o.s I mean like as in the comics. Go read "Lex Luthor Man of Steel" or "Batman/Superman: Public Enemies" thats my Lex.

His Henchmen didnt do ANYTHING. One guy recorded everything (why and for what? Dont know) They punched Superman alittle. And overall they were just kinda there, bland and characterless. Superman should have punched one of them (in half!)

I have to go with RB on this one. The movie was great. I think the best movie of the year thus far. I don't know what will top it.

I found the part about the son very sweet. I was happy with everything. Even the slow parts were fun.

Great Movie.

I remember in the older superman cartoons that lex was a black dude. Am I right or am I "taking crazy pills"!?

Didn't he marry, and subsequently kill Ms. Elizabeth?
