hi all.
i have began watching friends riight from the begining and i love it.
Even though it ended 2 years ago i think its still great tv.
chandler was my fav friend, he is so funny.
what i want to know is do a lot of people still appreciate the comedy of friends or has it run its course?
Also fav charactors and episodes.
my fav episodes are the ones where they go back in time to when they were teenagers, ha ha monica fat and chandler in his wicker shoes., the rest of the gang look cool too.

I used to work at TBS and NBC... seen 'em all (not really by choice) They are funny, but most episodes really don't stand up to repeated (and repeated and repeated) viewing.

The only episode that is funny everytime is when they bet the apartments. Probably the only one I've randomly quoted as well.

Come to think of it, that's really the only one I can remember specifically. All the others are a blur of coffee, ducks, Tom Selleck, and fat suits...

I watched only the first two seasons everyweek, because I was in college at the time and the girls and I would get ready to go out right after it was over.

After that I have just caught them out of order. Sometimes when I watch them now I get a suprising amount of laughs for something that didn't really float my boat in the beginning.

I never missed an episode in high school. Gave up on it through most of college. Had "Friends" nights after college where we'd get together at our place, eat dinner, drink beers, and watch Friends. Since Friends ended, we still have friends night, but we just drink more now. I think I've maybe watched two episodes since it ended. There just isn't much appeal to me anymore.

'Friends' is a great show but I keep wondering why I wasted money to purchase the DVD set when I beed Buffy seasons 4 through 7.

Friends jumped the shark during the whole london wedding fiasco.
My fav ep was "The One Where No One's Ready". It's set in Monica and Rachel's apartment for the whole half hour and everyone is getting ready for Ross' dinosaur thingy.

It contains the immortal Joey line, "I'm not gonna go commando in another man's fatigues."

Sadly I had to do that the other day...

We took the kids to see Cars, and the youngest puked all over halfway through the movie. Luckily the bathroom didn't have paper towels, just air dryers...

My parent's house is closer to the theatre than ours, so me and the boy went there to shower and change. Sadly, my chones were soaked in puke along with my jeans. So, I had to go commando in my dad's fatigues. Pretty gross.

Iv'e seen lots of episodes but my favorite episode is when pheobe, monica, and racheal take chandler to a strip club and when joey takes a shower in that one dudes room. Funny stuff. My favorite friend has to be Joey.

I think one of the funniest moments from the last season was Ross attempting to get a spray on tan. Likse most people though I motly remember mishmash of events.

Except the time Joey looked after that guy's Porshe.

"Friends" was okay, but highly overrated. There are much better shows that died untimely deaths because too many people wouldn't bother switching from "Friends" or "Seinfeld" (THE most overrated show in history) to watch them.

I cannot stand "Seinfeld". I know that makes me one in, like, a billion people who'll say that, but it's the truth. "Seinfeld" just isn't that funny. Now "Kramer" would've been a badass show...

And please, before any of you get started, save your breath if you feel the need to call me "dumbass", or "fag", or "stupid motherfucker" because I don't like "Seinfeld". You wouldn't believe how many times I've been reminded that I'm a dumbass fag motherfucker because I dislike the show. ;)

Give it a few years, both are overplayed right now, but give it time and you'll like it again. I was the same way with Cheers when it's re-runs were fresh, but now i can enjoy it (mostly because i can't remember individual episodes anymore)
