Nothing at all in the world like coming home and finding your mailbox crushed and smashed and utterly destroyed...
I had much better things to do this morning, rather than plant a new post and install a new box.
Like sleep.
Or finish that landscaping project I started Monday.
Or sleep.
What's the worst thing any one else has come home to in the evening?
The mailbox certainly isnt the worst I've ever experieced, but it's currently what's got me hot under the collar.

did they hit any of your neighbors, or was your box singled out?
A local pest control contractor back his trailer into it. (the neighbors were nice enough to get their name and number)

That happened to me the first week I moved into our house. Also some of our solar sidewalk lights were stolen and broken. Our neighbors cat kept leaving dead birds in front of our backdoor. And then there was this time where someone put a lit cigarette in my new mailbox and burnt a hole in it. Oh, and there was a time where our neighbors picnic table ended up in our driveway.
Though I think the worst thing I've ever came home to is my living room floor covered in dog shit/piss and cat puke. I left my puupy home for 4 hours while I was at work, and had a section of the house blocked off for her. After getting halfway home for lunch break, my car dies... I left it on the side of the road and started to walk home. When I finally got there (tired and half in tears) an awful stinky mess was greeting me.

HA! Anyway, my mailbox is attached to my front porch door. Man, it would suck if someone stole it. Mostly because they would also have the balls to steal my Xbox 360 and TV. I don't even wanna think about it.

Yeah one day when i was a kid, i woke up and looked out the window at my mom's van... one headlight was COMPLETELY obliterated and there was a dent on the side door.
about 5 years later...it got egged by some kids...and screwed up some of the paint job
then my freshman year...it got paintballed multiple times...
my mom's van sucks...:P

Dagnabit! In keeping with the original theme of this thread, I came home to find out I have to report for jury duty tomorrow. At 7:30a. Downtown. Superior Court. Stupid civic duty. I am not happy. Bastages! I have to be out the door at 6:15a to be there on time. Frack! This sucks!

In also keeping with the theme of this thread, I, too, came home Monday to a not-so-wonderful surprise. No, not a bashed-in mailbox, or a summons for jury duty, or even my wife indulging in an extramarital activity. Nope, I came hope to a flooded basement, courtesy of a 6+ inch rainfall in the span of 6 hours. Mother Nature, that beeatch is gonna pay!
What the hell is all that in the final frame business?
And now it's gone...
the last post on page one and the first post on page two had weirdness in it....
