So what do you guys think..?
It is pretty damn funny. I think this is the same sketch group from the Upright Citizens Brigade (sp?). They all look familiar.

So I guess that means no one has seen the show...or what??
If you have not seen it you need to. Very funny.
I don't need to see it- from 1997-2004, I lived make-em-up newscasts...
Actually, I just haven't had time.

Yeah, just watched my first episode, and have to say I thought it was pretty freakin' funny. Sorry, kman. It's that out there kind of humor. I see it as a The Office Lite. Same kinda stuff, but the kicker is these actors have a basic premise to work with, but it's a buttload of improv on the run. Got it lined up on the Tivo. We'll see.

I didn't like Dog Bites Man at all. The jokes seemed forced and awkward but not in a funny way. The humor is a rehashed mix of The Office and Reno 911.

The show can't be compared to Reno and The Office. It is about 80% improv and about 20% scripted. The comedians on that show make it a classic easily and I wouldnt be surprised if they have a second season.

Edit -- By the way. Welcome to the forum. It's always good to have more people who know how to spell and write.

Well thank you for the welcome, but thats the thing the jokes are really the same, plus The Office is scripted. I mean there all great shows but, in DBM you have actual stand up comedians, such as Zach Galifinakis (Alan Finger) who could carry the show on his improv alone. But it is hard to argue I mean all the shows have comedians coming from all areas of the genre, but I'm just glad these shows are on the air. You can only watch the Black Adder DVD's for so long.

Tillie- "Shit, What day is it?"
Marty- "Thursday."
Tillie-"Oh shit it's two days before the sabbeth. Hold this, and try not to get any pork on it. If the Jew Pope were to find out, I'd be circumcised ."
