that was surprisingly good. Kennedy's little cohort sounds a little Eazy-Eish.

I think that I broke my arm from falling out of my chair. Who would've thought that back in the 80s that Bob Saget would actually become cooler that Blackie Parrish/Unca Jessie twenty or so years later? Apocalypse, here we come!!

And I thought this thread was going to be about instrumental bands.

The "Good night, Michelle," at the end was gold, but after seeing his stand-up years ago, his cameo in Half Baked, and most recently The Aristocrats, I'm kind of done with the whole counter-Bob Sagat-irony humor. If this were done in the late 90's or if I saw this before I saw Aristocrats, it would have been much more funny.

In comedy-rap, I'm still partial to "Lazy Sunday." They dropped the mother of all historical metaphores with "You can call us Aaron Burr the way we're droppin' Hamiltons," and were able to create a must-see moment that SNL hasn't had since "More Cowbell."

"Lazy Sunday" was the first thing that I thought of when I clicked the link - Jamie Kennedy's attempt to cash in on something that has already been done, and been done better.

Maybe this is just showing my age but I haven't watched SNL since the mid 90s. So since I didn't know of "Lazy Sunday" skit, I'll stay with my initial reaction. However, now that I have seen it (thanks to the wonders of the Internets), "Lazy Sunday" is clearly the winner, linguistically speaking but the scratching and beats on "Rollin' with Saget" are far superior.

So "Lazy Sunday" is Q-Tip and "Rollin with Saget" is 50 Cent?

That's one hell of a comparison - I like it!

I struggled with who to put in as "Lazy Sunday." And I'm still not sold on it being Q-Tip. 50's obviously "Rollin with Saget," though. Without his dope beats he'd be nothing.

If not Q-Tip, what about Slick Rick? Or KRS-One?

You could always go with Tribe or De La. I wouldn't say the Roots though. They're just too good.

I remember that CD somewhat but it was stolen some time ago and I never replaced it. I need to refresh my memory.
