I'm trying. I've watched three epsiodes so far, but it's just okay. The one with the college flashbacks, the fantastic 4 ripoffs and the one with the pirates. I'm trying to like it, but I haven't really laughed out loud yet.

I'm trying. ... I'm trying to like it, but I haven't really laughed out loud yet.

If you enjoyed Jonny Quest (or any number of superhero cartoons from the sixties & seventies) as a kid, you'll laugh yer ass off. It's pretty much one big JQ parody that's run amok.

Never seen an episode of Johnny Quest. Maybe that's the problem.

How about an exclusive "lost" commentary from the first season of Venture Bros.?

It's for episode 1x07, "Home Insecurity", which didn't make it on to the DVD sets...

And be sure to watch next week's episode, as your friendly neighborhood editor-in-chief's work area and life make a very special cameo in not just one, but two spots that are the utter limits of geekery.

And be sure to watch next week's episode...

I'll check it out tomorrow.

(I guess being a loser who has to resort to watching TV for a living because he can't make movies has it's advantages)

SPOILERS! SPOILERS!

Dude really SPOILERS

So the Brothers are clones.
Do you think they have a handfull of brocks and Dr. Ventures laying around?
Do the boys grow older or do they have a preset clone age.
How do you think it will impact the rest of the season, will they linger on it or move on

JK

Spoilers!

Well, not really...
I don't think they linger on the boys being clones. Doc and Brock were so cavalier about it when talking to Orpheus.
And I...

can't...

say anything...

else.

(Unlce Ted may be watching)

Yea, I just assumed that it's something we'd never hear about again like how Principal Seymore Skinner is not really his name. They might reference it again as a joke, but nothing more. It doesn't seem like the shows style to dwell on it.

Brock Samsom sure does have a lot more to do this season.

JK

This Sunday's episode is freakin' awesome. if you've ever done something just to impress a girl, you might find a banana more intense than hickory nuts.

What does that mean?

I DON'T KNOW!

You make it up.

This season is so good it's scary. It couldn't get any better from 1st season, so thankfully it's the same quality. One of the best shows I've ever seen.

Just when I thought this show couldn't get any better, they do it in the best way possible, a Kiss reference. Dammit I love this show.

Yeah, I think the finale is part 2. Too short a season if you ask me.

I also got to see the funniest damn episode of ATHF... ever. And odds are pretty damn good it will never air in the same pristeen, uncut glory that I witnessed this evening.

Man, I love my job.

The last scene with the monk was WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! WRONG. God, I loved it.

My theory on what Dr. Girlfriend told him. That she's really a good guy. She only went bad when she fell for him. That's why his plans keep failing and why she let Rusty go.

Damn, I need Tivo. I missed the whole second season except for the first episode and the second to last. And both were freakin' phenomenal. Thank god I don't have a Nielsen box in the home, cause' I'm really bad with supporting the few shows I enjoy. I'm sure I'll catch em' all eventually, but until then, does anyone know when season 3 is due? I hope it isn't the near 2 year wait we had to endure last time.

UncaScroogeMcD
10-17-2006, 03:45 AM
Season 3 has a for all intents and purposes greenlight, but the very earliest new episodes could begin airing (and that's pushing it) is towards the end of next year.

In the meantime, keep an eye out here at The Stop for this year's holiday song, as part of our massive "Holiday Havoc" celebrations throughout the month of December.

I really hope that the unedited version is put on the new season DVD because I have never laughed so damn hard during an ATHF episode. Everyone should have an opportunity to see it in all it's... uncircumcised... glory.
