Fine by me. Now I won't have to hear their fucking phones ring when I'm in a theatre.

Hey Britt, I just noticed the "Former Shoot Columnist" over your avatar. Is "Preaching from the Longbox" no more?

Magic 8 Ball sez "Reply hazy, try again."
I've said it before, i'll say it again. If we are trading "The Shit" here, for that asshat that scribbles the new music column, then Booooooo on QSE!

Unfortunately, I hear it fine.
That is actually the sound I used to hear when I was a kid whenever I would go into certain stores. People thought I was crazy when I said I could hear a high pitch noise... but now I can show people exactly what it sounded like... unless they can't hear it.

I would hear it too if it wasn't for the damn tinnitus..
and the fact that I'm twice as old as most teenagers. And to think that I used to laugh at those 30-somethings in the 80s. Sumbitch.

Ahhh, the joys of tinnitus... the waxing and waning of the whistle in my head. Thank you, US Navy for giving me this. Sometimes, it's all I can hear.
At least I, too, am immune to the teenager repellant.
Take that, you pimple-faced punks! But take heart, in fifteen years, you be just... like... me.

I don't hear it. Gotherella, who has passed a certian age milestone herself, hears it just fine.

Twenty-plus years of an 18-inch crash cymbal in my right ear has caused all sorts of auditory "ghosts". Wouldn't trade it for the world.
