Last one was pretty bad.
I doubt this one will be any better, probably because of Vin leaving after the firs one.

Since when has Vin Diesel ever been a sign of quality?!

not saying he's a great actor but he did make the movie a lot better.
Now Paul Walker is one that is not an asset to the acting community.

I saw the preview for it
Its in Japan
Its about car sliding
I would rather the Staypuff Marshmellowman rape my grandmother than watch this P.O.S.
Vin Gasoline makes everything alittle bit better. He just isnt in good things to begin with

I could not agree more. Although, I never actually met your grandmother.
I thiught the 1st movie was just average, if that. The 2nd movie I have not seen, the trailer was plenty. Unless I here otherwise I will assume the 3rd is total drek.

I saw the trailer for it also, and got that uncomfortable burning sensation I feel when something is so bad I am embarrased to be viewing it around other people.

And Zens knows all about uncomfortable burning sensations. [Rimshot] :D

I had that feeling when i saw the trailer for She's The Man...
I wanted to be in a dark hole somewhere thousands of miles away for about a minute and 30 seconds...then come back to see better trailers..

The best part about trailers for formulaic, guaranteed-to-suck movies are that once they're over, 90% of the audience is dead silent, all thinking the same thing ("let's just all forget we ever saw that...") and then some tweener yells out "I am SO seeing that!"
It gives you that special feeling that only comes from knowing you are better than other people.

We took the boys to see Ice Age 2 a couple of weeks ago. There was an trailer for some new tweener movie with (I thought) Hillary Duff. It looked formulaic and guaranteed to suck. But they used Rilo Kiley in the trailer which was nearly enough to make me say, "I am SO seeing that!" Nearly.

I figured. That seems to be the "it" female song right now, showing up in Grey's Anatomy, that new Lindsay Lohan flick, and this Duff movie.
jjcourtright

Maybe it was Lindsay Lohan. I don't see a Duff movie that fits what I remember about the trailer.

i kinda felt the same way when i first saw the trailer at home for comedy central's "Drawn Together"...at first everyone in my school was like "OMG THAT LOOKS SO FUNNY I WANNA SEE THAT"...i knew it was gonna suck from the very beginning...after everyone was done ROFLMAO'ing at the crappy first season, to thier horror, realized that thanks to thier love for a show that wasnt very funny to begin with...they have made it spin into an even UN-FUNNIER 2nd season.

I didn't think Drawn Together was that bad, I only saw a few eps, but it's definitely funnier than any of Family Guy's recent efforts.
I was quite tickled by the ep where the Pikachu rip-off (I can't remember it's name) kept secreting a highly potent hallucinogen whenever he was disappointed, so the rest of them kept trying to do so just to get high.

There is an article in either Blender, or Maxim, or Giant (I don't know, they all run together) about this hot chick who really does this "drifting" bullshit for real.
I think any sport that involves losing control of your vehicle and burning out your tires can't be classified as a sport. It's just dumb. Don't get me wrong, you can be dumb all you want to, even organize yourself with other dumb people, but it's still dumb all the same.
Tomorrow I am going to make a sport out of climbing onto high rise roofs to unscrew the lightbulbs in special patterns. Because I will get friends together for this it is not called a sport and hopefully I can get a commission to become 4 fast, 4 furious.

You know, I tried typing in "Dumbass" but I found it almost impossible to do. I think I still used too many big words like to, from, a, and or.
I wanted to say something about it (IRMA's post) this morning, but all I could find was a collegiate dictionary.

Well the fast and the furious sucked ass but the second i thought wasn't bad but it's not really a third one, it's the fast and the furious tokyo drift which i thought was kick ass. You should check it out sometime, but im a little late telling you this it's out of theaters.

This movie will do pretty well at the movie theaters, it will attract the teens. The dvd sales will be low. Thats what i think, but this movie might not even come out.

Ummm, the movie is already come and gone in the theaters... June 16th, to be exact. I don't think California is considered a foreign market (maybe it should be, but that's another thread) but I believe this tripe has already had most of a world-wide release. The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift brought in $24M opening weekend and after a five week run, it's only brought in $59M. And looking at it's rankings vs. the amount of money brought in, I'd say the reports are pretty accurate- Hollywood = shit. It may have been in the top ten, but not that many people saw it compared to other movies. It was a pretty mediocre run.

Yeah. I don't like the Fast and the Furious series because it Holywood-izes the whole deal of illegal street racing. I mean seriously, its not a foriegn trade deal. From what I hear it's really
>Buy a car with dad's money, fit it with performance increasing things like extra loud mufflers and neon lights and loud speakers.
>Find somebody to challenge, with another souped up vehicle
>race in a street
A) get arrested, car gets impounded
B) crash into something
>buy another car with dad's money, repeat process
I've never done illegal street racing myself, but i know this! I watch COPS!
The worst I used to do (in my OWN car) was seeing who could get to 35 quicker off the light.

I did say "my own car"... The worst I've done in someone else's car I can't really say... statute of limitations hasn't run out yet... Or has it?
I once drove a rental car from Orlando FL to Vidor TX in nine hours. (856 miles)
I drove a police vehicle through an orchard at 3 a.m., blue and white lights flashing, doing donuts, knocking over trees (The next day, we took seven reports of UFOs. :D )
