Hey everyone!

I'm new here....and here's my question.

Ok, first of all, I have VERY SCANT details on this movie. I remember watching it when I was about 6 or 7 years old (18 years ago!) and I remember it kinda creeping me out then. I've always wondered what the name of the movie was so I could try and watch it again. I've been trying to figure this out for about 10 years...

Any help would be great here and, I must warn you, my memories on the movie are embarrassingly few and far between. All I know is that I'm DETERMINED to find out what it was. Now, I was watching it on TV so it might have been a 'made for TV' movie or something.

Here's what I 'remember' from it. (And no, I'm not making it up)

-I remember something about a group of people, possibly a family, all trapped in a building of some sort. I believe that they all thought that it was their house?
-There was something about the symbol for radioactivity that had some sort of significance. I remember the group thinking that when they saw that symbol on the walls, it meant bad news. I believe that they didn't know who was putting the symbols there too. (oh god, I know so little). Actually, I do remember a scene where a girl (or woman) is walking down a VERY narrow hallway, kinda like a side hatch or something, and she was really determined to get to the end, then when she got there, the symbol was printed on the wall and she freaked out. Hmmm.
-There was something about green goo that was bad in the house. Like, they were always running away for it or something? Actually, I'm pretty sure that the radioactivity symbol was linked to this goo somehow.
-I remember someone in the movie, possibly the husband or father of this family looking kinda like Herb Tarlick (spelling?) from WKRP. Seriously.
-When I was parked in front of the tv as a child watching this movie VERY early one Sunday or Saturday morning, my dad walked in the room and was watching it for a sec. It cut to a commercial where it showed an overhead shot of a forest and rolling hills with the movie title written in white letters across the screen. Could I be more vague? But seriously, Dad saw this and said “oh, you're watching &*(^#*@) <- Insert movie title there. I seem to remember the word “incredible” in what he said but, well, that was 18 years ago. Sorry.
-The last and most vivid memory of the movie that I have was the ending. It ended like this: It shows the whole group looking out of the window of this house that they were in and the shot continues to pan backwards until it reveals that the house...IS ACTUALLY A DOLLHOUSE! Yep, there were two little girls dressed in space-age clothing with that radioactivity symbol drawn on their face and arms! Kinda like a tattoo. So, it's clear to the viewer that the people in the house that you were watching the whole time were actually playthings for these kinds. Weird, I know. Then the mother comes up behind the kids and says something like “are you having fun” or “time for supper” or some other motherly type of thing.
-I saw this on tv around 1987 so that may help in determining the year.

Ok folks, if you can help me you would put 10 years of wondering to rest. Seriously.

That's all for now. Thank you SOOO much. I know that it's actually funny how little details I have about the movie and many of them, I'm sure, will be inaccurate. But, if you have ANYTHING, anything at all, please send it along.

THANK YOU!

Fin.

I know what you're talking about, and I too saw it when I was young.
Can anyone help this guy out?
I'm pretty sure it was called "The Dollhouse", and it was an episode of either The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, Monsters, or (doubtfully) Freddy's Nightmares.

I remember it scaring the schmidt out of me as a kid...

Definitely sounds like an ep of Twilight Zone or one of its many, many progeny. The specifics don't sound familiar, though, and I've watched a lot of those shows. :)

Well, with a little puncuation and some proofreading it's pretty darn obvious what this is:
______________
Dear Penthouse:

I have VERY SCANT details on when I was about 67 years old (18 years ago!) I remember creeping out then, for about 10 years.

I must warn you, my memories are embarrassing. All I know is that I'm DETERMINED to out it.

Here's what I 'remember' from it. (And no, I'm not making it up):

I remember a group of people, all in the house. The group that meant bad news.

Oh God...

A girl (or woman) is down a VERY narrow hatch, really determined to end, then when she got there she freaked out!

Hmmm...
-There was goo and i was linked to this goo.

The husband (Herb Tarlick from WKRP) was parked, watching this VERY early one Sunday or Saturday morning. In the room, I showed a head shot with the movie title written in white letters across the screen..."(*) <- Insert Member"

“Incredible” he said but, well, that was 18 years ago.

The last and most vivid memory that I have was ending. It ended like this: the whole group looking and he shot backwards...two girls on their face and arms!

So, it's clear that the people in the house were hole-play kinds. Weird. Then the mother comes up behind and says “Are you having fun? I saw this around 1987. Put 10 years of wondering to rest, now."

I know it's actually funny but, if you have A THING, any thing at all, please it long.
