If you were sick in televisionland, what doctor would you want to take care of you so that you got better and which doctor would you want to "play doctor" with?

Rules: Doesn't have to be a show currently on the air. You have to answer both questions. Must be TV - no movies or miniseries. Cable does count.

First, Marcus Welby, MD. Shit, none of you were even born when it was on.

Second, I'll pick Dr. "Lu" on Strong Medicine. Never seen it. Googled "TV female doctors". She can check my prostate any time.

Dr Patrick Dempsey McDreamy (I can't remember his name on the show!) from Grey's Anatomy, both to play doctor and be the doctor.

Is he your answer for both questions?

My answers...

1. "The Doctor" from Star Trek: Voyager - There was nothing he couldn't cure.

2. Dr Carolyn Lam from Stargate: SG-1 (aka Rommie from Andromeda)

Here's a pics of her....

Tough question: I'd either go with House or Dr. Cox to cure me. Those guys have shit for bedside manner, but they're brilliant, no nonsense kind of guys, and that's what I want fixing me.

Now, as far as with whom we'd be playing doctor, are we talking merely asthetics, or are we fooling around with the character. I've had a thing for
Sarah Chalke since she was Becky 2 (Electric Boogaloo) on Rosanne, however I don't think I could do anything with Elliot. Then again, the ex points out that aside from the doctoring bit, I am just like JD with my narcisism and the whole narrating my own life. So, I might actually have to go with Elliot, but then I'd get bored with her after I realized I could have her; just like JD.

Yeah, she would be a good answer for the 2nd question.
