If you are reading this from the UK then i here to save you from the evil of this absolute crok of badger turd of a film. Me and some friends bought this film last night from asda (wall mart to any americans) watched it and realised that david cronenborg had stolen 90 minutes of my life and we want them back. Normally i dont go by reviews but i had seen the trailer and thought that sounds good and i was pleased to read the quote on the back of the uk dvd box advertising as a "rollercoaster fast" thriller. how dissapointed when an achingly slow piece of crap film flowed out before my eyes. one the story is completely shallow and there is nothing to it, the twist is revealed like a fart in a lift. the acting is crap and the two sex scenes were about as arousing as barney gumble in a swim suit competition. i was so infurated i took back the DVD to asda got a refund but not only that the film is crap i couldn't get out of my head the quote on the back of the case so i decided to ring molly graham (who was quoted) from the news of the world and politely (maybe not that politley thinking back) whether she had ever seen the film and i think that she is falsely advertising a film! i'm wondering whether to take legal action (just jokin')!

Your country started the English language. Don't you think you could at least use it properly?

*Puts on Rex Harrington hat*

This is what the British population,
Calls an elementary education.
You sir, did you go to school?
Man Wadaya tike me for, a fool?

Why can't the English teach their children how to write?
This written class distinction, by now,
Should be antique.
An Englishman's way of writing absolutely classifies him,
The moment he types he makes some other
Englishman despise him.
One common language I'm afraid we'll never get.
Oh, why can't the English learn to set
A good example to people whose
English is painful to your eyes?
There even are places where English completely
disappears. In America, they haven't used it for years!
Why can't the English teach their children how to write?
Norwegians learn Norwegian; the Greeks have taught their
Greek. In France every Frenchman knows
his language fro "A" to "Zed"
The French never care what they do, actually,
as long as they write in properly.
Arabians learn Arabian with the speed of summer lightning.
And Hebrews learn it backwards,
which is absolutely frightening.
But use proper English you're regarded as a freak.
Why can't the English,
Why can't the English learn to write?

Gig Gig Gig Giget the hell out of here before we Gigaffle your Goishinker.

Reviews are opinions of an individual, and can't be relied on, you pretty much have to reviews these things yourself to like them, even if all your friends like a movie doesn't mean you'll buy into the hype.

I find it really sad that people cant ignore spelling and grammar problems

1) I have dyslexia
2) does it really relate to my opinion

and yes i do believe in other peoples opinion but does anyone think that "A history of violence is a "rollercoaster fast" triller?

Just because you can't type well doesn't mean that you're dislexic. It just means that you're lazy.

So now anytime a noob decides to be lazy about typing or misunderstands something -they can just claim to have dislexia and we're supposed to back off? Seems to me if you really have that condition you wouldn't be broadcasting it to the world. You would be trying to over come it. Not making us accept it. I would be trying to hide it as much as possible.

I couldn't find a single review that described A History of Violence as "rollercoaster fast" although it is frequently described as an emotional roller coaster". That said, I liked most of the movie but the ending was lame. The feeling I get is that critics liked it because it did not shy away from the violence and made it as honest and brutal as the filmmakers thought it would have really been.

For a boring movie watch Derailed. Bleah. Talk about the dumbest protagonist you could imagine.

On the cover of the movie it claims "The Best movie Of the Year". I think its credited to Rex Reed. By the way hes wrong.

I didn't think it was the "Best movie of the year!", but I did like it a lot.

Dear Fan girl,

I am not lying about my dyslexia and if you understood the condition then you would understand that it's nothing to be ashamed of. To be dyslexic you have to have a higher than average IQ (100) and lower reading or writing skills. In my case its my writing age is low and i try my best to make sure my spellings and puntuation is correct but the point still stands does my spelling really effect my opinions? by the way the quote is on the back of the uk dvd case. Oh by the dyslexia is spelt with a Y maybe you should look at yourself before you start on somebody else!!!!!!!!

I see no reason to be able to correctly spell a disorder that I'm not pretending to have.

Are you saying your so smart you're dumb? or so dumb you're smart?

100 is supposed to be a high IQ? Man, I am kicking some ass then.

Dear Fangirl,
Keep rocking in a free world
