Okay, I was at work today and we got into a discussion about early anime. This led me to remember one of my most favorite cartoons as a kid...Star Blazers. I watched the first two seasons of it, but never got to see the third (The Bolar Wars).
If anything is picked up by the Cartoon Network, I wish they would get Star Blazers and start airing it. I would love to see it again, especially since each season on DVD goes for about $130 at Best Buy.

I make a similar proposal regarding Reboot, I only saw up to a fraction of season 3 and I know there were around 2 more after that, I don't even think it came out on DVD.
Similarly with Gatchaman (G Force/Battle of the Planets) there were several seasons of that put out in japan, but they keep recutting the same first season for US audiences.
I think it is all out on video now, but frankly, i don't like to read and watch at the same time, so i'm looking for someone to do a faithful English translation of the original Japanese. dialog.

Except Sailor Moon was fox kids, I still remember the theme
fighting evil by monlight,
Winning love, by daylight,
never running from a real fight,
she is the one named sailor moon.
Catchy.

Ah, Battle of the Planets/G-Force. I have the DVD set that has been released on that show. It covers the following episodes...14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27. It also has the corresponding Gatchaman episodes. It just doesn't seem the same as it did when I used to watch it as a kid in the late 70s.

Good old days? When did they hit the airwaves?
