Anyone catch 'em? I set the DVR but it didn't record. Just curious how they looked and sounded, and if Shane was upright while he sang. Or had teeth.

I'm unfamiliar with the Pogues. Does that mean that I'm out of the hip club?

You don't remember this guy? Must be a generational thing.

I didn't see them on Conan (episodes are a few days late over here), but they were on an Irish chat show called The Late Late Show on Paddy's night. They performed "The Irish Rover" with Ronnie Drew...Shane was barely there, a total mess. Sad really.

So in that crazy way that my world always seems to work, I heard the Pogues last night without actively seeking them out. I was whelmed (and yes I did watch 10 Things I Hate About You on Comedy Central over the weekend).

I only know their one song, miracle in New york or whatever, the christmas one, and I absolutely hated it, I should probably coome back when I have things of value to say.
