No way...Nice Guy Eddie?!! That sucks.
I first saw him in Best of the Best 2, and although the movie sucked, I was traumatised by his death scene for about a month.
Ever since then he has always been an actor who I would especially notice when he popped up in stuff.
Obviusly though, he'll be remembered for his role in Resovoir Dogs, and rightly so. Very sad.:(

Nice Guy Eddie is no more...In my opinion Chriss Penn was one of the mostly underrated actor of his generation.I had the pleasure of meeting him in Montreal Qc while he was promoting Starsky & Hutch and the guy was really approachable and friendly.Just a plain ol' good guy!!

He was also not Mr. "Forcing My Agenda on Everyone" like his brother. How sad...I wonder if it was heart failure? He did seem to have gained a great deal of weight over time and at 43 that would be the most logical conclusion.

So sad.

I don't know... I have a few family members more overweight than he was and older than he was and they are still ticking. Did he ever have a drug problem?

We'll soon see when the coroner's report comes out. It's so funny to see how skinny he was in Footloose to the size he was when he died. So hard to believe it was the same guy. It's like Vincent D'Ofrio in "Adventures in Babysitting" has never been that buff since. Most don't even recognize him.

He seems too young. I'm guessing someone did him in, and is trying to use the publicity of his death to make themselves or film more popular.

Seems like people will do anything for a little view in the public eye.

Im guessing drugs and weight. Another Chris Farley all over again... watch out Chris's eh. Either that or he is now living on some remote island somewhere with his brothers money. Who knows...

If that's the case they would make it look like some stupid, bizarre accident to coincide with the premier of The Darwin Awards. I'm not sure if his character dies in the movie but if so that'd be an eerie coincidence.

Another Chris Farley? That guy died because he was doing more drugs than any human being has ever done, times seven.

Isn't that movie supposed to be about people dying? If so, that would be eerie.

That is so sadly true. The summer he died my college boyfriend was bouncing at Mothers in the city. Chris would come in there all the time, buy half the bar a drink, and be a super nice guy...but at the same point you could always tell he was 99% loaded, and not on just alcohol. When he died it was sad, because he always came across as a guy who never could buy his way out of his insecurities.

There is a picture of my ex and Chris a week before he passed. He had the pallor of a guy on the edge of something really bad. Too bad it came to pass.

Chris Farley was with a hooker or some chick the night he died... told this bitch he didn't feel well and she left him. She should be shot.

Chris Farley's hero was John Blueshi. He followed his footsteps exactly. I'm just thankful there wasn't a Jim Farley who we'd have to be allowing to have a career out of respect for his brother.

Well, his brother Kevin Farley was a member of the MTV boy band '2Gether' and he was a correspondent for Fox Sports' 'Best Damn Sports Show, Period.'

This is always on during daytime TV in Ireland, and I would be lying if I said I hadn't chuckled at it once or twice. I have a soft spot for James Belushi (c'mon Red Heat people!), and apart from Blues Brothers I'm really not a big fan of John. I find Animal House torturously unfunny.*

*ooh, I'm gonna get it for that one.
