I can’t believe this shit! It is the end of the 3rd quarter of the NFC Championship game between Seattle and Carolina. Seattle is up 27 - 7. I have to go to the bathroom. I figure I have some time, so I get up from the couch and go into the bathroom.

What fucking happens while I am in there? We fucking lose power! It isn’t storming out, nor is it windy, so how in the hell do we lose power? To top it off, it isn’t even the whole neighborhood; just my fucking street.

Now, I am a Seattle fan and have been since I moved up there back in 1979, so I haven’t had too many opportunities to see them in the playoffs.

Are you starting to understand the extent of my anger at the Texas-New Mexico Power Co for ruining the entire game for me? All I can say is that those fuckers are lucky Seattle won, because if they would’ve lost while I wasn’t watching, there would be at least one dead mother fucker out there and it wouldn't have been me.

I had several people call me when the game was over asking me if I was dancing in the streets after the victory and all I could say was…”We won? Woohoo!”, then explain to them what happened.



Well, the Seahawks are going to the Super Bowl for the first time ever, so all in all, I am happy. Those bastards at TNMP had better have three friggin’ trucks waiting within a mile of my house during the game, because if I miss any of it due to a power outage, they will be rebuilding their facilities.

You see, this is what happens when you count on Texas for...well, anything.

Since the Steelers knocked off the Broncos, I'll be on your side for the Super Bowl. I kind of expected the NFC representative to win the Super Bowl anyway. Far too many people have been saying that the AFC would win again. It seems quite similar to Superbowl XXXII (Green Bay vs. Denver). The NFC had been so dominant for so long that nobody gave the Broncos a chance. Now the AFC has won 6 of 8 and everybody thinks that the NFC doesn't have chance.
