Man, you better do something with that post. I saw this coming a mile away. Don't think Ozchickie will be the only one. She'll probably be the nicest, though. Good luck with that 'tardness. ;)

Yipes!!!! Wow, did he ever fuck up....
Anyway, Oz don't worry about it, it is not really going to ruin the first two episodes for you. If anything you will be able to enjoy them more. I was in total shock for rest of the show..
This is shaping up to be the best season yet though.
Guest Star Spoiler Alert:
Sean Astin's character is awesome. I am looking forward to the rest of the season.
24 for what ever reason always manages to get the best actors, even for the smaller roles.
Kiefer Sutherland does a great job with the character of Jack. Just when you think you have him figured out he adds another layer onto the character. The day they kill off Jack will be the death of 24.

Because I live on the other side of the world and 1) our ratings period starts February and 2) we have 3 tv channels which have to show as many US programs that they can fit in (not that I'm complaining) so 24 usually starts midway through the year... had to make way for Lost & Desperate Housewives starting in Feb.
Also, I'm sure its not only me. With your techno mumbo tivo jumbo I'm betting not everyone who watches it would have seen it last night. It's just net etiquette buddy.

all I can say is thank god I got here when the amendment to the original post had been made, I'll be avoiding all 24 threads from here on out since I've only just started to watch my season 2 box set, give me a couple of weeks and I'll have ploughed through 3 and my recently purchased 4. Retrospective news, so cool to have seen darlene and that kid from loser (noah) to appear in a couple of the early episodes.

I just finished watching the marathon opener, and all I can say is WOW!!
I, like Omaru, will be avoiding any 24 threads from here on in, cos I don't usually watch it week to week (I did it for season 2 and it was too much to take, getting drip-fed episodes).
I'll be waiting for the season 5 dvd release, but it was too tempting not to download the four-hour opening, and I'm glad I did.
Who would have thought David Palmer was Jack's father all along?;)

I was totally excited to find out that they were bringing back Sherri Palmer from the dead and she is actually First Lady Logan's lesbian lover. That was just HOT.
I agree with you that I haven't watched the drip-fed episodes. This is the first season I am trying to keep up, thanks to the grace of DVR.
