The U.S. Military now has Transparent Aluminum (http://www.livescience.com/technology/051018_new_glass.html)
Can the space shuttle with Warp Drive be far behind?

I quote that movie more than the rest. Specifically the line "He did too much LDS in the 60s" and "Everyone remember where we parked." Not to mention walking up to computers at stores that have keyboards instead of touch screens and saying "how quaint."
"Computer?"
Scotty types like a wild man for someone who's not used to a qwerty keyboard...

Color me gullible, but really?
wait, are you saying that the fluoride the Gov'ts been putting in our water system has been slowly turning us into Bees?

Color me gullible, but really?Yes. Bees see in the ultraviolet range of the spectrum. Aluminum is transparent in the UV range.
Edit: I assume that's why bees seem to always get stuck in your soda. The sweet smell is only coming out through the hole, so they know where to fly in, but once they are in, they can't see that they are in, so they just keep bumping into something they can't see.

Nice one Dave…
I was always confused about how Scotty could manipulate molecules on a computer and do a fusion/fission process in the manufacturing plant in a couple hours. Nevermind the fact that the computer obviously knew that the molecule would be transparent from the structure, I bet that thing couldn’t even run Pac man with the processor.
Oh, and “What does it mean ‘exact change’”?

That may be the coolest information ever. I am going to use that at Bar-b-ques, picnics and all other places where Bees get stuck in my beer can.
I will look like the smartest chick ever, and it is really you behind the scenes...pulling my marionette strings.

JJ, you don't have to lie in order for people like you. I whipped out my Edmund optics catalogue (yes, whipped) and looked up aluminum coatings; they are very reflective in the UV range. Even if that was the case you have paint and the inner coating on the can to reflect stuff. Anyway I hope you have a good review and remember that they may be testing you in vegas to see if you can resist the temptation of going out.

Hugs and Kisses,
SheriffI call shenanigans. Your aluminum coatings must have something else in them...either that, or aluminum is reflective at one extreme or the other of the UV range. You are right about the paint, though. Although a Silver Bullet would probably have them good and freaked out.

What are you picturing, because I first tried to picture a bee with some wolf characteristics, but now that I think about it, it'd probably be a person who's capable of transforming into a bee. I'm having a hard time with a mental image, it keeps looking like a giant bee with human legs and I can't get past the wolf part so it also has fangs.
Though I did see a little girl dressed as a bee yesterday, but she could've been a Werebee. She was kind of cute, not at all as scarey as it sounds.
I'm picturing a bumble bee with the Wolfmans Face on it...

We saw a not so little girl dressed as a bee yesterday. I think that her costume was probably made for elementary school girls, and she appeared to be of high school age...and height was the least of her problems.
did you invite her into to try out your special Lolli?

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin' the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
But it's not sane, It's not sane
yay! I was wondering if someone would bring out the Blind Melon (a highly underrated band if you ask me, i think i'll Listen to "Toes across the Floor" right now). For halloween one year whilest i was in college, we talked a rather portly friend into dressing up as the Bee Girl, and he looked just like her...

Since Blind Melon and Halloween were just mentioned in the same post, I felt the need to point out that the banjo-and-kazoo goodness of "Skinned" made it onto this year's Halloween CD.
I'll make a shoehorn outta your shin
I'll make a lampshade of durable skin
And oh, don't you know that I'm always feelin' able
When I'm sittin' home and I'm carving out your navel
(I'm just sittin' here carving out your navel)
When will I realize that this skin I'm in
Hey, it isn't mine?
And when will the kill be too much meat for me to hide?
Hey, I could really use a couple of hands
To complete one hell of a plant stand
Oh, and don't you know that I'm caught here in the middle
Making rib cages into coffee tables
(I'm just makin' em into coffee tables)
And when I realize that this skin I'm in
Hey, it isn't mine?
And when will the thrill be too much meat for me to find anymore?
Oh, because you know I can't hide
But oh how hard I try
But this is just the shape I'm in, oh yeah
And though you know I can't hide
But oh how hard I try
But this is just the shape I'm in.

Hey smilin' strange
You're lookin' happily deranged
Could you settle to shoot me?
Or have you picked your target yet?
Hey Sandy
Don't you talk back,

Four feet away
End of speech, it's the end of the day
We was only funnin'
But guiltily I thought you had it comin'
Hey Sandy

Hey Sandy

Don't you talk back,

What Halloween CD?
I just have to say, I don't know that song you mentioned, but I have this song stuck in my head now:
He wants a shoehorn, the kind with teeth
People should get beat up for stating their beliefs
He wants a shoehorn, the kind with teeth
Because he knows there's no such thing
He asks a girl if they can both sit in a chair but he doesn't get nervous
She's not really there
He wants a shoehorn, the kind with teeth
Because he knows there's no such thing
Tour the world in a heavy metal band
But they run out of gas
The plane can never land
He wants a shoehorn, the kind with teeth
People should get beat up for stating their beliefs
He wants a shoehorn, the kind with teeth
Because he knows there's no such thing
What's the sense in ever thinking about the tomb
When you're much too busy returning to the womb?
He wants a shoehorn, the kind with teeth
People should get beat up for stating their beliefs
He wants a shoehorn, the kind with teeth
Because he knows there's no such thing

It's actually in my top 10 live shows ever. It was high energy stuff, a great live set. and that butch Bass player was grinding in out the entire time. The played a mid-size club that's not open anymore, it was great.
