You are the 75,000th person to join this board and start talking all about the JayBob. Problem is the topics stopped being a good introduction to someone after about the 5th. If you have the need to talk about them then use the search feature and bring up the other 5,000 threads dedicated to discussions on them.

Why does age have anything to do with using correct grammar(assuming that you are older than 11)? I may be wrong, but I'm guessing that elementary school is often referred to as "grammar" school for a reason.

WARNING/DISCLAIMER TO NEW MEMBERS:
I come back to this board after a long layoff and see the same old crap that made me forget about this board. This is what people can come to expect in this community. It's not that everyone participates in this hazing but it's certain that someone will eventually. If you post something about Jay and Silent Bob in your first post like anybody would expect in a message board that spoofs the movie, you will get attacked. In fact, it really doesn't even have to be about Jay and Silent Bob. It's basically anything that certain people on this board don't think deserves a thread or think is dumb or uninteresting. They don't like to follow the common sense reaction of ignoring threads they aren't supposedly interested in. I think one of the main reasons that people keep responding is because of the lack of activity in this board. They have very little to look at and post in so they will make do with what they have, even if it means keeping alive a thread they dread the most just to get some post whoring in. Many also wait to pounce on these common situations and get whatever kick they get with ridiculing people. They somehow can't grasp the fact that there will constantly be new members posting about the movie where they found the website. They are trolls, which in actuality, is what the message board in the movie were filled with. Ironically, they've turned into the clones of their counterparts in the movie's forum. They like to dream up whatever witty and clever insult they can think of and display it to get attention, acceptance within the troll community, or whatever self gratification they seek. They're just missing the part where they get beat up by Jay and Silent Bob for their comments (or not if Karma gets to them anyways).
So, really if you would have to guess what type of people might be on this board from seeing the movie's version of the board, shouldn't you expect nothing less? I have to point out that there are many people here that are not associated with this hazing and ridiculing but there will always be trolls waiting to pounce, especially in any lenient or infrequently moderated board. If you go to any board, you can really tell if it is socially moderated well when people call out the trolls to discourage such actions. Then redundant or "stupid" threads will die like they should. You will not find that here, other than maybe a warning to the poster to expect such behavior. You can defeat this initial surge of negativity by simply ignoring them or joining them. That's not a community that many people would want to be in. That's why most people just leave and never come back.
Members have to be more understanding that people will come into this board and talk about the movie that this board spoofs. There's no way around that unless you go to another board. You can't keep putting down these posts just because you're sick of them and expect cheery responses to your ridiculing. You just promote flame wars and contribute to the redundancy of the topic. You have to remember that for every Jay and Silent Bob thread out there, there is the same old trolling and flaming going on in it. Stop being hypocrites and just ignore the thread if you don't want to see it. To dismiss such initial posters based on the expected initial topic is ludicrous. Just think of how all of you got here, from the same childish and immature classic of a movie. Many of you believe that you are intelligent, productive, witty, entertaining, etc. but you fail to realize that your common point of interest that brought you to this board was the movie. If you're so smart and clever, isn't it possible for others to be even though they enjoyed the movie and want to post about it? Then maybe more people will stay and give you more interesting threads to read.
People, these are general statements and I have not accused anyone or directly called anybody a troll (except maybe hinted of some people in this thread, as expected). Not everyone is a troll and this forum is entertaining for many. I am not criticizing everyone here, just the trolls and flamers. So, if you have to say something to defend these trolls, remember I did not direct it to anyone in particular. You'd look like a troll doing so anyways... :) BTW, it did not take me long to type this and you shouldn't have read it if you blame me for wasting your time (it was intended for new members anyways). Flame suit on!

Heh, looks like somebody peeped into my history. Oh, I gotta support my boy Chris even though his brother Scott and ex-f2f drummer Pete are no longer in the band. They're no Foo Fighters but, Chris is filling out as a lead singer and I see him getting a lot better if he keeps the band together, especially with all the publicity he gets in the Foo Fighters when they go on tour with his merchandise sales. It is poppy but they have a pretty wide range in their music style and you can tell they are influenced by a ton of bands. Hope they stay around because I think they can get a lot better (at least they didn't hang it up with the minor legal thing with their original name).
yeah, i've got the Jackson's EP, the new name sounds like a soccer team, but that's ok. I didn't look at your history btw, but with a screen name like FacetoFace, i figured you would have an opinion. I didn't know that Scott and Pete were out of the band either.
