Cameron Crowe's latest film Elizabethtown has the soundtrack out:

1. 60B (Etown Theme) - Nancy Wilson
2. It'll All Work Out - Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
3. My Father's Gun - Elton John
4. io (This Time Around) - Helen Stellar
5. Come Pick Me Up - Ryan Adams
6. Where to Begin - My Morning Jacket
7. Long Ride Home - Patty Griffin
8. Sugar Blue - Jeff Finlin
9. Don't I Hold You - Wheat
10. Shut Us Down - Lindsey Buckingham
11. Let It Out (Let it All Hang Out) - The Hombres
12. Hard Times - eastmountainsouth
13. Jesus Was a Crossmaker - The Hollies
14. Square One - Tom Petty
15. Same in Any Language - I Nine

As usual I am totally jazzed up, and not just because it has one of my all time favorite songs on it "Come Pick Me Up" by Ryan Adams. In fact, if anybody wanted to figure out my current mental state all they would have to do is listen to that song. It would all come clear. ;)

Man, I wish that I could make a mix CD like this guy does his soundtracks. The guy is so perfect when it comes to picking music for his movies. How did I miss this coming out a couple of weeks ago? Anyway, checking the Best Buy in-store stock as I write.

"Cameron Crowe To Release Only Soundtracks
November 9, 2005 | Issue 41•45

LOS ANGELES—Explaining that his movies were but a small step in the pursuit of a career he has always dreamed about, Almost Famous director Cameron Crowe announced Monday that he is retiring from filmmaking to focus exclusively on soundtracks. "For me, the moving image has become redundant, and I believe that I can more effectively tell stories with carefully chosen music," said Crowe, backed by Electric Light Orchestra's "Do Ya." Crowe's first soundtrack, Walking With Headphones, will begin compilation later this winter for a summer release, with the soundtrack's soundtrack available on Polydor Records."

Great to hear. But who's this Brett guy? I swear some days, it seems that I get all of his phone messages and emails from people that I know in passing. But now, you, my dear Zens, are under his spell as well. One day I will find this Brett guy and give him a good ass kicking. ;)

Lol - that was a fun typo! Don't feel bad, I called the guy named "Brent" that works for me "Britt" the other day. It all evens out.

I promise to wear the thigh high boots again, if it would make you feel better. ;)

I will be there with bells on. Or I will be covered in Bells beer, which I heard is preferred by 9 out of 10 male dentists when asked what they like their women wearing. ;)
