Yes, but it doesn't say if the 14 year old girl was then charged. She was the older of the two and the instigater. I doubt she will ever be charged as most state laws define rape as an older male with a younger female and just about none of them will include an older female with a younger male in their definition of rape.

Well, I remember in Wisconsin a year or 2 ago a woman, age 15 or 16 molested a boy, age 11 or 12, and she got charged with rape. So hopefully not all is lost.

Crazy world, indeed. Although, throughout history there have been times when the "older man-young girl" thing was quite the norm. Way more accepted than the "Mrs. Robinson" deal going on here. Different times, different values.

Edit: Nothing could be more wrong than a teacher taking advantage of a student, though.

Edit: Nothing could be more wrong than a teacher taking advantage of a student, though. I think the older woman-young man thing has really changed just recently. My girlfriends and I call it the ashtondemi syndrome. I get hit on more by young men now then I EVER did when I was even that age. In the "between time" recently from when the Bent-ster and I were split up I dated three different younger guys (for very short periods) for the first time ever. There are inherent problems with it, but it does make a girl feel pretty cool. :)

MY babysitter had sex with me when I was 9 or 10. I did initiate anything. I wasn't irritated about it until I was in my twenties and had my own child. I don't think she should have been prosecuted, even if she was 17. As a parent, I think I would have talked her father into punching her in the mouth, or maybe had her get some counseling. I'm really not mad about it now, but I'm sure it caused me some problems. This case just looks stupid. I can't get enough of these overzealous district attorneys looking to make a name for themselves and coming out looking like jack-asses.
