Anybody taken a gander at this? This guy's blog about getting his movie made has been cracking me up for some time now..

Pretty colorful... sounds like he is having some problems. Perhaps when he's through trying to make his movie and can use his blog and make a movie about trying to make a movie.

The movie is already done (It looks like Dane Cook is in it if you're into that sort of thing). It comes out on 9/23. The director probably has only just now been able to go back through and put together a diary of his experiences, or else he has already written the whole thing and just puts out an entry every day until .

I saw an advance screening yesterday.
It was HILARIOUS! If you have ever worked in food service, it is a movie that is going to stick with you the rest of your life.
Luiz Guzman is one of the funniest guys I have ever seen on screen. The casting was excellent. All of the characters were spot on. Rob McKittrick is one funny cocksucker.
Very funny to see Jeff Balis from PGL as one of the restaurant patrons.

And if you haven't checked out the blog in awhile, you really should. There was some great behind the scenes video today with Luis Guzman threatening to kick his ass.

I will be catching this one on Tuesday. I cannot wait. I worked in the food industry for years (Burger King, Hard Rock Cafe, and a number of Pizzerias) and cannot wait to see this movie. From what I have seen in the trailer, much of it isn't hyperbole.
However, the spitting in food thing I never saw.

Guzman is clearly an idiot and an asshole. He didn't seem to get the scene and made no effort to understand it. He must be a democrat.

Holy shit. I've seen the movie twice and lets just say that I've started playing "the game". I recomend it to everyone.

After reading the follow-up on Rob McKittrick's blog, I agree... Guzman is a democrat.

Interesting to hear that the movie cost only $3 million to make. I guess they made their money back the first week, and then some. I still need to see it.

Yeah. I guess that is the beauty of making a movie for 3 million instead of 100 million. Great Casting probably accounted for a guaranted return on investment too.
