Ok, so Im really bored and I want to discuss something. Since Im at work and everyone here is about as entertaining as paint drying, I hope you fellow board junkies will help me out. so here goes:

Now that the Star Wars series are officially over and Georgie boy is no longer making any feature films, where do you think they are going with the series. I know theres the books, but Im talking about where they will go for those of us who are television and movie addicts.

Is the world ready for a weekly Star Wars series. and if so what would it be about. Would it be about the early life of a main character(Han solo im looking in your direction), will it just be about jedi's. I think a show about Jedis and there missions would be cool. Or Maybe its just set in the Star wars universe and is more along the lines of smallville and less like Stargate SG-1(which continues where the movie left off)

If it were my show, I would want something with the drama and story of Babylon 5. Something intruiging and intelligent yet full of action and fun star wars stuff.

How about a crew of Smugglers or something like that and the wild adventures they have. But one of them is force sensative and is starting to become aware of his "SUPER POWERS"

I know its a shitty idea but hey thats why im not a writer. Anyone else got any ideas.

There's a story out today that they've pushed back any kind of production on the Star Wars TV series to 2008... And I've heard the rumour that it- the live action series- will focus on young Luke Skywalker. I wanted to the adventure of Boba Fett, but I'm nobody...

The production has been pushed back to about 2007. However, the Clone Wars 30-minute series will start production either this year or next.

As for what the live-action series will be about... at present, the focus looks like it will be on the Jedi who survived Order 66 and perhaps the bounty hunters and forces of the Empire who hunt them. I would expect there to be smugglers and bad guys galore.

If we see Luke, or Han, or any of those major characters, it will be brief. Lucas wants to focus on background characters from the movies at best.

Young Luke Skywalker? What a shitty Idea. WHat would he do? Run around his backwater desert planet and get kidnapped by Tuskan Raiders? that would just suck.

A on the run Jedi who runs into Smugglers and is hunted by Bobba Fett (among others) would be better. Throw in some Droids and some babes.
