had one of those crappy days that you wish you hadn't woken up for.

I knew yesterday was going to be bad. It was my Monday at work..

Starts off, we have three 1:1 suicidal patients on the ward (meaning a staff member has to be with them at all times, including the bathroom) so I get to sit and stare at a person for 8 hours. Hard to keep myself awake, but I do it. Then I find out I have to stay till 4:30 in the morning (my regular shift is 2:45p-11:15p). I don't want to do it, but I have to (plus overtime is nice). So I proceed to spend another 5 hours staring at suicidal people while they sleep so they don't hurt themselves, whilst developing a migrane. Migrane starts making me feel like I'm going to puke, so I have to put up with friendly jests from coworkers that I'm pregnant (which got on my nerves after the first 5 minutes). So, I finally make it to 4:30. I get in the car, turn the music up loud to keep me awake, and head home. I got maybe 10 minutes away from home and all of a sudden it gets hard to accelerate and my oil light comes on. *side note - in April my saturn caught on fire while I was driving it, so I'm a bit on the nervous side now* I shut my car off and reach for my cell phone. OH CRAP, I left it at home. Now my husband and I have a friend that lives down the stretch of BFE highway that I was driving, so I figured it wasn't that far and I'd walk there and call my husband, all along the way alternately cursing and crying and hoping my husband would realize I should be home already and come look for me. An hour and 4 miles walking later (and still 2 miles away from our friend's house), he shows up. We go back to my car and we get it to drive, all the while it's drastically overheating so we have to stop every so often and let it cool. It takes us an hour and a half to put put it to his friends house 6 miles away. By this time it's around 8 oclock and I still haven't gotten any sleep. Needless to say, I so wished I hadn't woken up yesterday. Or something =[

Now I'm being barraded with stupid female driver comments from my husband and father-in-law =[

Okay, now this is the second time in a few days where the song Tomorrow was misquoted!

This cannot stand people! Here're the CORRECT lyrics:

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!

Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!

When I'm stuck a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh!

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow! Tomorrow!
I love ya Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A way!

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar What part of that did I misquote?
" ...sun will..", should have been "...sun'll.."?
Tree huggin' hippie.:p

It was the tomorrow...tomorrow that was out of place.

And I prefer to be called an Arbor Embracing Hygenically Challenged American, thank you very much.

This is where "I" begin quoting the tune. I was going to post:"Hope tomorrow will be a better day", but inexplicably broke out in song. Get it? Ya Arbor Embracing Hygenically Challenged American, you're welcome. :D

I was born in 1962. Why was that the wrong time?

"28 days of rain, flash floods in february.........."

None of that here though, nothing but sun, wish it would cool off a bit to be honest but the sitting outside with cleavage heavy co-workers is always one reason to endure potential sunstroke.

But other than that my days are relatively shitty too.

Thanks for reminding me I need to get the oil changed in the Jeep...

A fantastic way to spend my day off... not. Actually, it's not that bad- takes about ten minutes. Six of that is just waiting for the oil to drain out. No jacks, no ramps, one wrench, one filter... Ah, the beauty of a 4x4 with 18 inches of ground clearance, soon to be 22 point 5...

I'm really bored right now...

I got a repreive- it's raining. Again.

Guess I'll go to a movie. Or two. A buddy at work keeps giving me free passes. I need to use 'em up.

A trick for filters that won't come off: punch a screwdriver through and use that to torque it off. Drain the oil out first, of course, but it works when all else fails.
