Ny-Quil sucks!

What the fuck have they done with my Ny-Quil? A nice big slug used to clear my head and allow me to time travel ahead 8 or 9 hours, no problem.
The sneezing, coughing, stuffy-head so you can rest medicine has become the why the hell am I up at a quarter 'til four in the morning medicine.

Yeah, I've found that it only knocks you out for 4 hours at a time now. So at 4 in the morning when you wake up you have to down another bottle to get you back to sleep.

When I find myself in a situation like that, I find that either Benadryl or codeine [if available] work best. I used to have this great red cough medicine that was chalk full of codeine--it would do the trick every time--and it tasted like liquid sugar. Man, I could use some now......

It is great for colds, indigestion, flu, mild allergies, and hangovers. FABULOUS for hangovers. Of course, they make an Alka Seltzer now for hangovers called Morning Relief. It's bascially the same thing.

It's bascially the same thing. Hells yeah. I keep Alka Seltzer Cold, Flu, and Morning Relief on hand at all times. No better cure for a hangover than some aspirin, caffeine, and salt. Gotten me through many a rough day...including this coming Sunday.

Hangovers?!?! That's what Bloody Marys and Tylenol are for. :p
I've found that washing down two NyQuil Liquicaps with a shot of NyQuil almost does the trick. Apparently the lawyers have gotten to the makers of NyQuil and pussified it.

I will never disrespect the value of the Bloody Mary in the equation. There is a place here that makes the most amazing Bloody Marias too...extra spicy.

If I know it's gonna be a long night I take Ibuprofin before going out. Then when I get home I take another round of them, 3 Tums, and 2 glasses of water. The next morning Alka Seltzer cold and (if not a work day) go for Bloody Mary's.

I learned one VERY important thing about hangover relief. Do not, under any circumstances, drink very lime laden Margaritas. The acid will tear your stomach apart for days.

Two of them and you will get no less than your ten hours. (Which is why you should NEVER take them at 11:00pm if you wanna wake up at 6:00am, and when I say NEVER I mean NEVER!)

take them around 8:00 and you shoudl be fine.
or to be safe, just take one.
