View Full Version : Don't hold your breath...
You ever go through the day knowing something out of the ordinary is going to happen? It's like you can smell it in the air, or see it out of the corner of your eye, but then the wind blows and you lose the scent, or you turn your head too fast and it's gone. After you calm down a bit, that feeling is back- haunting you, whispering in your ear, telling you to wait and watch...
The last few days, I've just had this feeling, like something is going down and I need to be ready, but I don't know what it is. Part of me feels like I already know, but I can't remember. And this is going to sound odd as fuck, but I think it has something to do with the number 37. Everywhere I look the past few days, 37. I can't remember all the occurances, but it's weirding me out a little. I've gotten to the point where I'm trying like hell not to notice. Maybe it's the powerball and I need to buy a lottery ticket, fuck if I know.
Just an odd feeling I can't shake.

maybe you'll order a plate at a resrtaunt with exactly thirty-seven fries on it, and then you find out that you are the restraunt's one-millionth customer and you win five thousand bucks!

I'm guessing the closest you've been to a boob in the last 15 years or so, is when you mom was still breast-feeding you. So your opinions on this subject are out the window. :p

Well JK, I'm not a big believer in premonitions and whatnot but here's some stuff that might help.
First, it may well have been a good idea to post your concerns here since 37 is obviously the most significant number in Kevin Smith's first movie, Clerks. If it weren't for that movie and perhaps for that number none of us would be chatting on this message board right now.
Second, this link (http://www.vic.australis.com.au/hazz/number037.html) has some information about the significance of that number.
My opinion is to heed the warning of Sol in the movie Pi: "Hold on. You have to slow down. You're losing it. You have to take a breath. Listen to yourself. ... You want to find the number 216 in the world, you will be able to find it everywhere. 216 steps from a mere street corner to your front door. 216 seconds you spend riding on the elevator. When your mind becomes obsessed with anything, you will filter everything else out and find that thing everywhere."

haha yea they do.Sometimes I think that is the big difference between men and women. Men make a lot more verbal promises to us about marriage than the other way around. They accuse us of changing, which in someways we do, but very rarely did we blatently claim we would be a certain way that we are not.
Men, on the other hand, will promise you the moon and deliver a moon pie :0)

Dave (and probably only Dave) will appreciate this,but...
JK! Watch out for Shaun Alexander!
He's sure to have plenty of time to attack as he's holding out for a better deal with the Seahawks!
I've actually met him a number of times (he did commercials with one of our clients) and he's really nice.

For some reason I always seem to get him confused with Ricky Watters. I just looked up Shaun Alexander on NFL.com and thought...that's not Shaun Alexander. Maybe it is because Shaun Alexander replaced Ricky Watters on the Seahawks, apparently I still think that it is 2000.

Threadkiller covered the Pi thing, Ozzchick covered the symbols thing. Leaving me with not much to say. I believe most people have some sense of precognition, your subconscious uses symbols to send these messages but it's near impossible to correctly guess what the symbols mean before whatever is going to happen , happens. So it it doesn't help much to know.
My advice is , if you a sense that something is amiss, be really nice to everyone , because you may need to call in a favor soon.

I went through a similar deal with the number 11 right after 9/11. For months, I would look at a clock and see 11:11, or get $11.11 in change -- stuff like that. One of my watches even stopped at 11:11. It was really freaking me out. Nothing ever happened, though.
Seems like I have anti-precognition: everytime I expect something or get panicky for no reason, nothing happens, but when I'm not paying attention, just humming merrily along........blammo! I've learned to be suspicious all the time.
