Did anyone catch the 2-hour long episode of CSI: Las Vegas that Tarantino directed? I didn't think that it was the best episode of CSI ever, but I think he did a really good job. The actors did a pretty good job with the very Tarantino-esque lines that they were given, IMO.

Also: Wouldn't that be the absolute worst way to die EVER?

I caught the last hour of it. Pretty good. And yeah, that would suck, being buried alive.

That's funny, I saw everything except the last half hour, I had to leave to catch the bus so I could go see EP. III again. I'm hoping the re-air it sometime, as I'd like to see the end.

Spoiler, highlight: Also, not just being buried alive, but eaten alive by fireants as well.

Great...

You both just had to go and ruin it for the rest of us who missed it...

Nice work bro!;)

I have only seen one episode of CSI and don't get the hype about it.

That's not nearly the most interesting part of the show, trust me, that wasn't much of a spoiler compared to all the crap that happens.

i think its a pretty good show, well shot and edited. the original has a strong cast, i don't like the miami version though. Still, it's no Law and Order.

Still, it's no Law and Order.

Which is why I don't watch it!

Spike TV- weeknights from 7 to 9pm (7 to 10 on Fridays:D ) I really dig that Jorja Fox... (she's on The List.)

I've only seen about 10 episodes, and a buddy of mine who is obsessed with QT wanted to watch that one, but it was pretty cool.

I have a question for the die hard CSI fans out there. Why, when they are in thier own labs, are the lights always off? Did the police station think it'd be cheaper for everyone to use flashlights instead of real lights? I always thought that crime labs were very bright...

Silly...Bright, windowless, taupe painted crime labs don't film well.

Dang, I would've made an effort to catch this episode had I know QT was directing. CSI is kind of one of those take it or leave it shows for me. If there's nothing else on I may leave the channel there and watch it, but I may just as easily start reading a book instead. You know, not bad enough to offend to such an extent that I wish I never owned a TV, say like "Britney and Kevin: Chaotic", but not gripping enough to keep me glued to the screen.

I used to watch it religiously, but now it's up against shows I like better, so I watch it during reruns. Still like it, but I have my priorities, pathetic though they may be...

Yeah, most of the episodes seem a bit redundant. The same story is played over and over...

It's also funny how people wish the Wrath of Satan upon shows that show a boob or two, but some chick shoving both of her arms in someones stomach and up through their chest to rip their heart out is okay. Also, swinging teenage drugged-out cannibal cheerleaders are okay, too.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel. I mean, to each there own for sure. I do always wonder, love or hate the show, how there can be a market for so many different versions of the show, are they that different? I kind of get the hi-tech "Quincy MD" vibe from most of 'em.

I was wondering the same thing...

Still, it's no Law and Order.

I hate Law and Order. I like Law and Order SVU. I loath Criminal Intent. I vomit when I see Trail by Jury.

I like the investigative parts of those shows. When it gets into the court room is when I turn it off.

CSI is great because it focuses on the part of Law I am interested in. Investigating with Science. thats what its all about, plus it shows the long hours they put in. On just one small thing like finding a hair. They have like a 30 second montage of the sweeping the room before they find the hair. I just love things like that.

Hardcore CSI fans are an interesting lot. My friend was on the show. He was the only one that ever got away with his crime. The network received so many letters that they had to bring him back so he did get caught.

No, it was a first season episode called "Face Lift." Here's the description from the TV Tome:

A body is found in a pottery store in what's apparently a robbery that was interrupted. Fingerprints at the scene seem to match a twenty year old kidnapping case. Sara and Warrick look into a case where a woman burned to death in her home. The woman was burned to an ash but only the chair she was in was burned, the rest of the house is fine. Sara believes they have a case of spontaneous combustion.

They brought him back in the second season when they linked this to a casino robbery in "And Then There Were None."

Well then, you'll be able to recognize him when you see Batman Begins. He's the assistant DA in it. He doesn't look a thing like how he did in Memento, though.

Who was he in Memento? We watched that movie a while ago and it's a total mind f**k. Good movie, though.

He was the one at the end who's clothes Guy Pierce was wearing throughout the movie.
