In my opinion, sequels are usually the shits.... the plots, charachters, and the rest of the movie are usually thrown together without artistic integrity due to the fact that the original made enough money for a small demographic to watch the sequel just because it was the sequel and not because it was the right move to make, artistically..... art, I truly believe, is a lost form of expression in a lot of ways in today's society.

That's actually not a re-make though, it is supposed to be more based on the book than the 70s version. Therefore it is an adaptation not a re-make.

House On Haunted Hill, 13 Ghosts and now House of Wax (to name a few)... ugh. Watching these films made my retinas bleed. Is there so little originality in Hollywood that they have to desecrate classic films?
