View Full Version : The worst person in the world

...tonight, it's me. Why?

Because I watched Britney and Kevin: Chaotic.

Yes, the one show that makes Nick and Jessica's Christmas Special look amusing.

In order, I am the worst person in the world for having this on while I worked. And skeezy Kevin Federline is a close second just for being a do-nothing, know-nothing loser. Britney's a firm #3 for being just too dumb to be a real person. And yet... who's the fool, to paraphrase Obi-Wan Kenobi, the fool on TV or the fool watching the fool?

Man, I suck. That was the worst hour of television in the history of the world. Paris Hilton's sex tape was genius compared to this mess. It was a total masturbatory celebrity sex tape minus any sex. Please tell me I'm alone in having sat through this nightmare.

I didn't even know it was on... Thank God. I might have had to shoot myself if I had seen it. As it was I was flipping through and saw a snippet of SNL on E! with Ms. Spears or Missus Stankyfoot as she's known in some circles...

But don't be too hard on yourself. Consider it research for this site... If it proves to be too much of a burden on your soul and your conscience, can you file worker's comp for it?

...Because I watched Britney and Kevin: Chaotic.I don't even know what you are talking about. Britney Spears and Kevin Smith? WTF?

I wasn't wasting MY time. I was doing something meaningful and REAL:
Watching Team America [Fuck Yeah!]
So yep, you were alone.

You'll be ok, right after some psychological help and possibly even a labotomy.

Why would you watch that, when the Sience of Star Wars is on the Discovery channel?
You're weird. ;)

You're a martyr for the good of all mankind and I hail you, sir. Just include it in your upcoming OHC and turn it into "research" instead of "masochism," like jk said. I don't know if I'd be able to keep from watching the wreck happen myself. But you know what G. Dubb says, "Fool me, uh....twice?.......can't get fooled again."

Personally, I was playing Project: Snowblind.

Because I watched Britney and Kevin: Chaotic. The girl tried to watch it, but I put my foot down. There are some things that I will not allow to appear on the TV screen, even if I am not watching it.

Sorry, but I missed it. Talk about marketing to the LCD demographic...that must have been sheer torture. I saw something on VH1 about their "Fabulous Lives" and I was made to vomit just a bit in my mouth when I saw how Mr. Federline dresses to play golf. *shakes head* If I were a member of, I believe it was Bel-Air, I would discontinue my membership until he wore pants that covered his underwear.

I missed it too, i must have been watching Live TV Bloopers 3 and Bo do this Thang dog on Idol while it was on. They were on Letterman doing the Top 10 last night and it was so awful that i turned to Nightline.

I saw advertisements for it on the local UPN affiliate that aired during the tv show I'm on.... is it all just hand-held camcorder, motion-sickness-Blair-Witch-Project production quality, or is any of it pro-shot with a TV camera? I had to take some Dramamine after watching the commercial.

It's going to be really difficult to run this site and do your day job after you gouge your eyes out with a melon baller, which you must do immediately.

Wait a minute.....you are a guy right? And Straight?

I think your manliness is being called into question.

First you go and enjoy a Celine Dion concert, so much so that you write a glowing article about it (One Hand Slapping Celine Dion Haters) and now you actually sit through the new Spears show?

Are you daft? If this is what being married these days requires of a guy, I don't think I ever want to get remarried.

Because I watched Britney and Kevin: Chaotic. You do realize that the NBA still has playoffs even if the Lakers aren't in them, right?

There was no chance in hell that I was going to read all of that, so I just scrolled down to read the captions...and this made it completely worth my time:

It's hilarious, the sports guy on the talk station I listen to on the way to work every day always sums up the NBA playoff activity from the night before, then ends his report by saying "and the Lakers.....were idle." You can hear the tech guys cracking up, because he says it every day.

I dunno... watching a Detroit/Indy game where neither team breaks 80 points is almost as painful as watching those two trashy-ass redneck millionaires shoot each other with video cameras (if only someone had swapped their camcorder for a taser)...

But yes, I must monitor such things for the good of the site, unfortunately. I don't want EVERY single show I mock in the TV Recs to be sight-unseen... and it's easy to work with mindless crap on in the background, as opposed to anything with an actual plot.

It's good to know you're out there sacrificing your own well being everyday, so that we don't have to. I salute you, honorable sir.

I flipped on Game 3 the other night...middle of the 3rd quarter...score was something like 38-45. I don't have too much of a problem if at least one team plays well - Detroit's 30-4 run on Tuesday was pretty awe inspiring, but when they are both sucking ass, it's rough...at least the West is still putting up some points.

Well, since you put it this way, I guess your manhood isn't in question. Hell, I would have to say that to do that so others don't have to makes you even more of a man.
