Advanced Test Screenings

I have heard on the message boards a few times about "test screenings." I was just wondering how you guys get tickets to these "test screenings."

They usually give them out at random at the mall or other high traffic areas, but there are some companies who maintain a database and mail out invitations on a regular basis.

I don't think they give these tickets out at malls in Indiana and Illinois. Heavens, as much time as I spend at Woodfield, I would be the queen of advanced screenings. No dice in middle america.

Often people approach you... however, if you are like me and have the number to call to get on "the list"... /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

They tend to be in NY or LA, just because that's where the execs are, but every so often one'll pop up here and there. Press screenings happen a lot more often, and are typically the finished print. THese are often (in smaller markets) the ones the radio stations give away. Make friends with a DJ or the manager of a multiplex.
