Why would they make a third one? The first one was gay. I didn't see the second one but I heard it was worse that the first.

I enjoyed the first one. I, like everyone else in America, did not see the second one. I heard that after the success of the first one that there were two sequels planned. But, the second one bombed so badly that they scrapped the third one. I can't imagine why it is considered a good idea again.

What a waste of time and theater space.

The witch was a lesbian?
The first movie was really well done. I saw a screening of it before it got buried under the hype, and let me tell you, if you went into that movie cold with no real idea of what to expect, it freaked you out.

I live in the area it was filmed, and have gone camping in the woods a few miles from there for years. To say the movie freaked me out is a vast understatement. Even knowing it was fake, there was still confusion locally. Since they'd filmed it so long before releasing it, they managed to get things about the legend on local newscasts on their annual Halloween "local haunts" way before the movie got press. Crafty.

Yeah I heard about it, I also heard it will be better than the first two which [censored] sucked [censored]. The first was too goddamn boring and the second just made no sense and left me wondering, what the [censored]?

the first blair witch set new standards for horror movies. the second movie, which was really based on a true story, broke those rules and made new ones. the 3rd? i have no clue what will happen. it'll be scary as hell though.

Sorry, but none of the Blair Witch legend is based on any true stories. I live in the area, did some extra work, had a friend who was a PA/script supervisor, researched it, and did an interview with all of the ACTUAL ghosts and spirits of Burkettsville (friendly bunch, but they don't get why goths dress like they do). BW2 is just as fictional.

Yep. It will be so scary that no one will want to see it. At all. Ever.
I wonder how much time was saved by typing NE One instead of Anyone. I have been looking at this post for a couple of days now, and just got the meaning. I was like North East One, what the [censored]?

Yeah, internet lingo just [censored] blows, doesn't it? It's stupid. He/she saved one keystroke. The result: he/she sounds like a [censored] idiot.

Not exactly.
"NE ONE" = 6 keystrokes
"ANYONE" = 6 keystrokes
Forever branding yourself a complete tool for using net lingo = priceless
Maybe that "Y" key is just too far to reach. It is stuck all the way on top and in the middle. Perhaps this guy has a supershort index finger.

All the first movie did to me was give me motion sickness.
There are no more ideas in hollywood apparently.

the first one was stupid in many ways but did deliver a few chills. For the sequel, I refuse to believe that it exists. For news for the third one, the creators are trying to get a studio or movie production company to back them up for a third movie, but everyone in hollywood is saying f*ck off!

Actually, right now the third one is as dead as this thread was. Your inside information is astounding. Was this an exact quote from all of Hollywood? I'd think they (and big Hollywood Studio Artisan) would be a bit more polite and ask them to "Screw away." That way they could get in more papers.

I think the first Blair Witch would have been better if 4 out of every 5 words were F*** or some other cuss word. Not that I am offended by cussing, I just thought it would have been better without it all. Oh, and it wasn't scary at all. My 4th grade (at the time) daughter wasn't even scared by it. The second one was really lame.

Oh, I almost forgot....my daughter has been doing that stupid chat abbreviation crap since she was 10 YEARS OLD. It is NE1 you dumbass. If you are gonna attempt to do something to save yourself some time typing, you might as well save yourself some time. Oh yeah, and notice I said 10 years old.

If there is another Blair witch movie I feel sorry for the no name actors who will be involved because beginning an acting career with a crappy movie like that is poison for the rest of the career.
