Another milestone...

So, all the regulars here know what I do for a living. Pretty cake job... watching TV all night long. I'm of the opinion that you'd have to be just about dying to call in sick- all I would be doing is sitting around watching TV anyway, why not get paid? So, I haven't taken a sick day in over two years but today is the first... I feel like I've been drinking for twelve hours but with the benefit of not actually having drank anything. Man, I feel like crap... I'm afraid to even drive to the pharmacy. This sure is a suck-ass milestone.

Anyone else got one?

I don't even know who my doctor is... After this post, I'm parking my ass in front of the TV, under a blanket, and watching some movies. I think it's an inner ear infection- only thing I can figure as to why I fall down when I try to stand up. If y'all don't hear from me later, send the cavalry. Maybe I need one of those LifeAlert buttons... "I've fallen and can't reach the remote!" I'm just pissed off about missing work- this means my OT doesn't count for shit this weekend.

Bud, I just passed a milestone that wasn't so bad--I managed to stay out of school for 3 years. I just finished my first term paper in as long, and I feel stupid and old trying to write a scholarly paper now.

I keep telling my family I don't know if I have four years in me--I am just starting a masters program, and I don't know I've bounced back from undergrad!

..Sorry you feel crumby. I know the feeling--I can't shake this crap that's going on here on the east coast--first it was the winter, and my sinuses. Now, everything's covered in pollen, and it's my allergies and sinuses..but worse. Hope you feel better, bro.
