I guess I am the first one back this year from the festivities.
I have to give a lesson at 7 am, it is now 11:15. Judging by how good I feel now, I am assured to have a shitty day tomorrow.
Let this be a 2x post for eadh of us. How we feel when we get back, and how we feel in the morning.
CHEERS and Happy St Pats!

I get to start celebrating in 3 hours, 45 minutes (had to work all night) I'm off for the next 12 days so I get to tie one on proper. Can't wait to post drunk- that be about 715 EST. As fer how I feel afterwards, I'll let y'all know about 6pm. I don't envy the day walkers- it's fun drinking at 6:30 in the morning, sitting on the balcony, raising my glass in a toast to the slugs that are driving off to their nine to five cubicle/coffin. I just wish I could have done it yesterday- That's what I get for being Irish- damn the luck and all that shit. Oh well, here's to swimming with bow-legged women...

Oh yeah, I had a crazy night last night, full of wild, naked, Non-Linear Editing!!! WOOOOT!!! St. Patricks Day is tonight for me, the real one just didn't fit in my schedule. Damn work.
Well, i'm still feeling pretty good right now, but i suspect that by 1 pm i'll be dragging ass. I got in last night, feeling superb, and full of beer, whiskey and greasy Gyro goodness.
Now i have a day full of wild, naked Non-linear Editing. Wooot Woooot!!!!

The Guiness went down increeeedibly easy last night. All I had to show for it was a dull headache this morning. Now it's 10:30 and I feel great. I'm going to make the claim that sauerkraut has magical regenerative powers leading to my greatness...or at least to my feeling great.

I didn't celebrate, but my daughter and I watched Saw last night. Good movie. I actually guessed who the bad guy was from the get-go.

Well, I made it pretty good until after lunch, at which point I pretty much gave up on doing anything productive for work.
Came home about 5, and ate, went to sleep at 6. It is now 6:30 am Saturday, i just woke up.

This year, I didn't really have too aweful a hangover. I had a dull headache, but some breakfast burritos and coffee cleared it right up. My cousin/friend/housemate was throwing up and in laid out in bed until 5:30PM or so.
Pretty much the fun part of this year has been the recounting of the tales of the previous night. Tales that I couldn't possibly remember if I tried. Now, I do know that I ruled the dance floor like a disco king for nigh three hours. That, I do recall. So far, the new girl has informed me that I:
-Introduced her to my friends (the ones she hadn't met already) ...three times.
-That I did in fact drink at the bar -- I planned on only drinking at home -- when I thought that I was drinking water. The part that hurts me the worst is that it was that green beer bullshite. Just the thought wells me up a little bit.
-That I took a picture of a guy in the bathroom "because he was taking too long." That's one of those good-in-theory, drunken ideas that get people hogtied to the back of pickup trucks.
I can't wait to get my photos developed.
...and I can't even go into the rest due to tons of male nudity. But let me say that not drinking for 5 weeks and then St. Patty's Day? That's like laying in bed the entire month before a decathalon. What an eye opener.
