If so, then I have good news for you.
The Sci-Fi original movie, Alien Apocalypse, starring Bruce Campbell will air 26 Mar @ 9:00PM Eastern.
I just saw the previews for it while watching First Contact and it looks like a really good movie. Definitely looked like a typical Bruce Campbell movie.
Just thought you all would wanna know.
Huge, HUGE fan of The Chin. I hadn't seen anything on this, but I'll definitely be checking it out.
Also, I'd read somewhere that the Jason Vs. Freddy Vs. Ash project has been scrapped in favor of a complete remake of Evil Dead.

Don't know about FvJvA, but a remake of Evil Dead (combining the stories of 1 and 2) is going forward. Raimi (and Rob Tapert, I think) are will be overseeing the project, with a new director. Rumor is that Bruce has asked that there be no "Ash" character in the remake.
Raimi has also talked publicly about an Evil Dead IV, but that sounds like its a long way off, if it ever happens.

I hadn't heard anything on it until last night either. I was in the middle of Star Trek: First Contact and saw the previews during a commercial break. It is actual a Sci-Fi Network original movie, so it hasn't been released anywhere else.
I can't believe they are gonna remake The Evil Dead. That movie is a classic just the way it is. Hopefully, if it is done, they will use Bruce Campbell again. I couldn't see any other person in the starring role.

He has a comic book coming out as well. Have you guys read the Evil Dead comic - Ashes to Ashes? It's actually pretty funny. I'm almost finished reading "If Chins Could Kill." I highly recommend if you haven't already read it.
