I think we had one of these a long time ago, but I don't feel like looking for it, and I think we should start off fresh, so here it is. The 'Special Day Thread.' Please provide any information you wish to share in this thead with the MPS crew. Items can include Birthdays, the first night you had sex, anniversaries, the first night you came home drunk...anything you have a special memory of and I will be in charge to help celebrate the special day.

So, come on, you all know you want to share! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Here's some interresting stuff about me and my fiancee's birthdays and what not...

Her dad's birthday is the day before mine. Her birthday is the day before my mom's. Her dad is left-handed with green eyes. So am I. We both have grandfathers named George and we both have great-grandfathers were named Joseph. I have a sister named Jennifer- that's my fiancee's name as well.

That's some weird, special birthday stuff... and... stuff.

Anyway... February 17th, 1991: first (second, third and fourth) time to... you know... the horizontal-no-pants-romance-dance. She got kind of weird though, she had a knife fetish and I couldn't get her to cut it out.

First time I got completely wasted was on Halloween, 1989 I think. Maybe 1988. Beer, then gin & tonic, then a screwdriver, each served in a Big Gulp collector's cup. I remember my glee at learning it didn't always have to hurt or feel bad to throw up. Sometimes it can be fun!

jjcourtright
03-09-2005, 03:07 PM
Those are usually the best nights. In high school, I was at a friends house, I was getting really drunk, going at it with a girl I barely knew, stopped things for a second to puke off an indoor balcony, then went right back to it. Good times. Plus, you get most of the evil out, so the next day doesn't hurt so bad.

DangerSeeker
03-09-2005, 07:19 PM
While I'm finally settling down, have a steady thing going with work, a lady, and stuff, and that's all really great, I do miss those days of being at some stranger's house, surrounded by a crowd of people you don't know save the group you came with, getting hammered, making new friends, hooking up with one or two ladies through the night, then enjoying a little OJ and maybe one last beer as the last of the party sits on a porch and watches the sun come up. A quick croissandwich on the way home, an afternoon of sleep, and a feeling that nothing was accomplished in a good and peaceful way.

TLS
03-10-2005, 09:45 AM
Yeah, I miss those days too. Though except a croissandwich I ate a poptart, skipped the whole sleeping part and went straight to work. I still go to the parties sometimes, but my man doesn't drink so he wants to leave early. Being the good girlfriend I am, I always leave when he does... even though I badly want to stay and hang out.
Both, my man's dad and his brother are in bands and play out all the time, and half the time I have to put on a waterworks display just to get him to go (which doesn't happen often). Most of the time I end up a third wheel since his sister and my best friend are dating.
*sigh*
It's hard to let go of the party life...

DangerSeeker
03-10-2005, 02:12 PM
That sucks. I'm finding I can't find those parties as easily anymore. Everyone is getting too mature to have all-night bashes. By midnight, the place is clear and I'm looking for something to do. Laaaaaame...

January 12, 1972 is the date of my birth. I hate birthdays and avoid celebrating as much as possible. Nothing good ever happens on my birthday. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif
September 18, 1997 is the date of my daughter's birth. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
My father was born on March 13, 1939. The only real significance that date has for me is that, as a child, I hurt myself really bad on his birthdays.
Stitches in the forhead. (Fell in shower)
Stitches in the chin. (Hit with golf club)
Burned hand on the eye of the stove.
January 1, 1993 has a real special place in my heart as well, and probably only Dave knows why. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif Boy, that sounds gay...but it's not. Alabama won the National Championship at the Sugar Bowl and I was there to see it.
I don't really remember dates for sex, drunkeness, etc. although the drunkeness occurred at the Florida State Fair when I was 13.

Birthday: July 12th in beautiful Joliet Illinois

Anniversary: If I was still married I could be getting ignored by my husband every year on October 26th.

First Time: I was 16 and it hurt so I never completed it. Luckily the next time was nice and here we are today, still doin' it!

First Time I Got Drunk: I was 16 and I tangled with a bottle of Kiwi Maddog. I ended up spewing green all over the park. We were at a large outdoor festival and I tried to use the curb as a pillow in the middle of the Chubby Checker concert. Sigh...good times.

Last Time I Got Drunk: Well Karma, I did PROMISE I would stay up with you until the shuttle came at 3am... I just wish you could remember what that super important secret was that you had to tell me.
