How is it we don't have a Trailers thread yet? I searched and found nothing. Gotta put something up for what is often the best part of going to the movies.

The Previews.

Sin City (http://www.apple.com/trailers/miramax/sin_city/)
The Ballad of Jack and Rose (http://www.apple.com/trailers/independent/theballadofjackandrose.html)
The Wedding Crashers (http://www.apple.com/trailers/newline/wedding_crashers/)

Yeah. When it gets to the part where Mickey Rourke is kneeling in the rain, I almost get chills. I can't wait for Sin City.

The much improved, damned funny online only trailer for Hitchhiker's Guide is HERE. (http://video.ugo.com/player.aspx?articleID=13939&ref=ts) It pokes fun at trailers themselves, and features what will be the voice of the guide in the movie.

That H2G2 trailer is now on the official site and in glorious Quicktime High Quality (http://hitchhikers.movies.go.com/trailers/exclusive.html)

I mention this because if you go frame by frame for the end montage, you can see some pretty neat things. There are two frame snipets of:
People cheering to hear the Deep Thoughts answer, wearing T-shirts with 'Think Deep' logos
Various Spaceships crashing and what not
And most importantly, all of the characters in the form of animated hand-sown yarn puppets.

OK this is not technically a trailer, but it is worth watching.

Sky Blue (http://www.ifilm.com/player/?ifilmId=2659328&pg=default&skin=default&refsite=i film) is a visual delicacy . Hours after I’ve left the theater, I find it’s delectable imagery and evocative soundtrack still swimming contently in my head, making friends with my other thoughts. I see a lot of movies most of them don’t last five minutes up there. Somewhere near the end of the trailer it’s compared to “Blade Runner “ and “ Ghost in the Shell “ . Personally I’d say it bears closer resemblance to “Titan AE “ and the“ Final Fantasy ”movie, though it surpasses both. It does a far better job of blending hand rendered cell anime with CGI backgrounds, in fact, most the time it’s seamless. The attention to detail like the rust covered rivets on an old metal suspension bridge flying by at 160 mph, the greasy rubbed in fingerprints on the cooks smock, the look of confusion in the eyes of a child. It carries conceivable eco-themes and believable futuristic scenarios without all the hokey “Mother Gaia” stuff . The plot and dialogue are at some times poignant and others laughable. Unfortunately, not the movies strong point,( I think it would've been better subtitled , than dubbed) and I feel it should’ve resolved itself more completely. Still, I found it immersive, compelling and challenging. Far from perfect, but eight bucks well spent. I can’t wait for the video game.

Don't wait for video, see this in theatre.

USDA Choice-grade A eye-candy.

I had to find out while doing a search on the first one. Anyway, I am really exiteed about it!!! I watched the first one all the time nutil it got taken from me.

Speaking of which. I know that this is off topic but in The First one, Kevin Mentions something about Darwin's theory...? Anyone remember the exact quote? Or something like it. This has been bothering me all night. Your help please. :

If you keep picking at it, it'll only get worse. (http://tenaciousdmovie.com/) This movie is about 4 years late. Probably 5 by the time it's released.

I can't believe no one here has been talking about this yet. At first I was pissed "The Rock" is in it , then I realized he looks just like "the face", the jarhead mug from the original game. I forsee box office DOOM. (http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/doom.html) How interesting is watching a video game going to be ?

"Stay" (http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&cf=info&id=1808537115&intl=us)
is actually looking pretty interesting in the Sixth Sensey kinda way.

I saw the trailers for Doom and Stay on saturday in front of Serenity. I'm surprised I hadn't heard anything about a movie with Ewan McGregor, Naomi Watts and the dude from The Notebook. You're right though, it looked very Sixth Sensish.

Bitch! ;) I'd have to scan 'em. And other assorted shit that I have no clue of how to do. Hell, that pic of me with my guitar player took me 2 hrs to figure out, fuckin' slow-ass dial-up didn't help. I'll see what I can come up with. Until then think Ratt meets Poison meets Motley Crue. Sounds like a fuckin' horror movie.
