I love working nights.
I love my nights off even more.
I rather enjoy cooking a steak on the grill at 3 a.m. It's not as unwholesome as flying a kite at night, but it's cool- no lousy neighbors showing up for hand-outs. I also enjoy the look on the neighbors' faces when I get home in the morning and have a beer on my balcony while they're mounting up for their 2+ hours of morning commute.
There ain't crap on TV, but for the last four days, I've been addicted to Ratchet and Clank (the first and the second) I'm worse than $10 hooker on crack. I can't stop playing. And when I do, I'm here on the 'shoot. And when I'm not here, I go for moonlight drives with Jim Morrison and a pack of smokes (the only time I light up)
I'm just rambling here... wasting time before I have to go to bed and then go to work. Speaking of work, I can't wait to get back- raises and bonus' (bonusi? bone-eye?) come out this week and I'm up for promotion. It's hard to imagine, but there is a hierarchy in getting paid to watch TV. Soon I'll be getting paid to watch people watch TV...
And then I'll have acheived some sort of nirvana, or at least the wallet will... Does that make me a sell out? I mean, as far as true couch-potatoism goes? If so, I'll gladly forfeit the sofa- I hate the damn thing anyway.
