Absolutely. My only concern is that in a year's time you will probably find the whole series for that price, but if that doesn't bother, or if you're anxious to start watching it, then by all means pick it up. It's a great show, especially when you can watch multiple episodes at a time. The weekly thing is a major tease.

I love it, it's one of my favourite shows in years, so I would say yes. BUT. For me, half the fun of the show is in talking about it and thinking of theories to explain what happens. I'm not sure if you'd really have that when watching them in quick succession, but it's still awesome though.

Netflix. $9 a month and you can watch all seasons instantly. Then again, if I could get them on Blu-Ray I would.

For $100 fuck yes it is! I paid anywhere between 50-70 bucks per season, and still feel like I got my money's worth. But I've been buying them as they come out.

It's not the type of thing you will watch just once, I can assure you. And it looks stunning on blu ray.

That's not nearly as cheap as Netflix (which we don't have here in Canada) but you don't get the special features with that do you? The outtakes are hilarious.

I don't think it's going to be one of those "AHA!" endings that reveals all of the unawnsered questions....you'll just be confused and/or bored.

Plus if you didn't see last week there is no chance you will know what is happening. Half the fun of this show is the suspense, if you ruin that there really is no point to watching it.

Give it a try sometime and count yourself lucky you didn't have to deal with waiting for the new episodes/seasons. THAT was the worst part.

There were a lot of parts I liked. Every time someone had their flash, I got all choked up.

I still have some issues with purgatory that I haven't worked out in my head yet. Such as, what the hell is the point of Sayid's? Or even Jack's for that matter? What's with his son? Why was Hurley there at all if he should have been just like Jack who was just like Jacob who lived for 2000 years?

I think most of the people dissatisfied fail to realize it was always about the characters, and that's what the finale was about. They've never been big on spoon feeding answers.

The entire time I was wondering that. But Walt would have been 8 feet tall now so it wouldn't have worked. And also, the way it ended with Jack with him falling down where he was in the pilot and with his eye closing was kinda cheesy.

He answered the Michael part on the Kimmel special after. He said he was on the island still, you know, whispering. When he met Hugo on the island in the last season he said he couldn't go where they were going.

They didn't all die at the same time but the most important time of their lives were spent with each other. Hurley very well could have lived on for 2000 years on the island with Ben as his second in command, which was alluded to when they spoke (I think). Hurley seemed so wise in the sideways world...

I am still digesting the ending, but I was definitely crying at a few points during the end. All those reunions were awesomely powerful. The Jack ending seemed a bit obvious but i'm ok with it, choosing to think of it as a full circle type thing.

As for Walt, it was something that happened to him while he was very young, and he stayed on the island for around two months. He then went away and grew up. He was not with the group, because the island was not so important, that he had to find the rest of the group. His life went another path.

That is one of the cool things about this ending, it really put a nice cap on the end. Are there things that would have been cool to know about, maybe. But I think that we know most of them if we sit down and ponder it a bit. Plus, it didn't negate ANYTHING. I'm really happy with the way it went down.

After letting some time pass since I watched the ending I've come to my conclusion on it. I had problems with the back story of Jacob and the Smoke Monster. I didn't know it was coming so I felt like it was a stop sign on the train to the end. But I re watched it and the penultimate episode before the finale.

LOST went a certain way, they brought the current thread to it's (quite satisfying) conclusion. While watching it, I thought the first hour was a tense as hell, and I was a bit miffed that they killed off the Smoke Monster so quickly. By the end of the episode I didn't know what to feel. I had been up all night and had a whole day in work ahead of me. Upon reflection, I'm very happy with the ending. They rolled with what they offered. The island just was. There just was a 'heart' to it. The removal of the 'heart' made the Smoke Monster and Jack 'mortal'. I loved how it brought all of that to a close.

In regards to people's problem with the actual ending. I now love it. After spending so many hours with these characters that I've grown to love or despise, I felt that they deserved that moment. That point where, through all the pain and bullshit, they had some peace. To hug and kiss and smile. I'm delighted it was in essence, a happy ending.

Goodbye LOST. You'll be missed.





On a side note, on the Jimmy Kimmel show after the finale. This made me nearly lose a lung.

I also teared up at the 'New Jacob' talk between Hugo and Jack. I think that was a powerful performance by Jorge Garcia. I think they could have their own little spin off, but not sure of what.

I'll give it to Jorge Garcia, he had some rather potentially wooden dialogue to get through in those last few episodes. Coped well.

Was kinda hoping Ben would buy the farm in a horrific and amusing manner (the tree hammering him into the ground like Wile E. Coyote) but we don't always get what we want.

I think they ended it off well. Sure it left us with a butt load of questions, but Lost will still live on because of it. To be honest, I've only heard that song because of Lost. Thanks for the link though, gave me goosebumps. Not as much goosebumps of this scene though.
