WTF does "Bawitdaba da bang a dang diggy diggy diggy said the boogy said up jump the boogy" mean?

Does anyone have ANY explaination for this shite?

My only explanation for this is, that you've been listening to Kid Rock.

Actually, no. I have pondered this for many many moons, and I still have no idea wtf this means. Kid Rock is not smart enough to talk baby-talk like this, and the music is clearly not his, so there must be some kind of explaination to this.

It is actually the way some musicians sound out music/beat either while writing or rehearsing without instruments. I know that I have done something similar dozens of times with my own bandmates, or when alone trying to figure out a new piece of music.

You might say to your drummer "How about, when I come in 'bum dim ba dum bim' you follow me with 'boom tick a tick a boom'." /forums/images/icons/smile.gif It is a musical language. Or, at least I imagine that is from where Kid Rock got it.

Here's a theory:
Maybe it doesn't have a meaning, it was probably created for something fun to say. Some people just like to blurt out things every once in a while. Instead of using words with meanings which may upset someone (like calling everyone a boob because it's fun to say the word boob), a word or in this case phrase, with no known meaning was created to satisfy this urge without creating conflict with the more sensitive people.
It may be a far-fetched idea, but you never know...

Well, I didn't get to read yours before I answered. I post too slow.
Your idea is much better than mine and you're probably right.

This may be a good thoeory, but keep in mind I have taught music for 13 years.

You were correct in your syntax (bah be-tee-dum)

BUT this Kid Rock thing is nothing like that.

I can't tell you what the eff it means, but doesn't anyone remember the Sugar Hill Gang? The tune that popularized this nonsense was called Rapper's Delight . Another memorable line was... "Hotel-motel-Holiday Inn, If your girl starts actin up, then you take her friend."

Kid just borrowed the intro to show his affection for the roots of Hip-Hop/Rap.

Somewhere in a dusty cold garage I still have a copy of the L.P. It was a big hit at the skating rink back in the day.

Personally, I think it's just what happens when you combine this:

with this:

Maybe, it's just a modern form of scat. How's that for a double entendre?

It looks like he's wearing a trench coat, with jams and a sombraro. Well, at least the insane smile on his face fits the outfit.

Loosely translated, it means...
...I am the silly white boy, the silly white boy who thinks he is Hank Williams Jr. and Shirley from What's Happenin' illegitimate son.
Loosely translated, mind you.

I always thought it meant : I have such a tiny, little penis. I wish I was black.
