Do I actually need to show an itemized list of all 20 gigs of my immoral play list here? The collection included everything from Les Paul, to Harry Connick JR, to Metallica, Pink Floyd, to Dream Theater, Aphex Twins, Godley and Creme, GOod GOD, this could take hours to type. Not to mention all the movies.

Wait... you have one big playlist for all your mp3s?
I have about 50 different playlists and I change some of them daily, depending on my mood. I would go nuts listening to ok song after ok song when I just want to get to the good stuff. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I assumed by "list" you meant "Post an itemized list of all the immoral mp3's and mpegs etc. you have on your computer."
Razorback

I said "playlist." That is a term used very specifically.
What is in your PLAYLIST RIGHT NOW?
I didn't ask "what is in your mp3 directory right now" you silly monkey!

Man o War... I used to LOVE them. I did grow tired of them after a few years but I do still listen to Black Wind, Fire, & Steel.

I still think my 2 all time favorite songs are "The Warriors Prayer" and "Heart of Steel." For some reason they hold a special place in my heart.

Speaking of Type O -, are they still around? I was a huge fan until about 5 years ago.
Razorback

No, they all died in a plane crash.
Yes, they are still around and kicking ass.

Hmm, will you share a song that you like from their latest album, so I can see if I like them enough to buy their latest cd?
Razorback
11-30-2004, 10:36 AM
Nope. I don't believe in sharing music. Just downloading it. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
I don't have one so I can't add my list, but I can comment on Type O. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
Actually I don't have any of their new stuff. I've kinda forgot about them for a while. But I do have a couple of their older albums and I can play Black#1 on the bass guitar. I especially like their version of Summer Breeze. That, and there's a song with a very long title to it on the album Slow Deep and Hard, that's pretty cool.
I also love listening to Dream Theaters 'Yjste Jam' /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
And obviously anything by Primus or Pink Floyd /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Type O's new CD is awesome. I bought it before listening to a single song, just on faith. I can't find a song on the damn thing that I don't like.

I feel that way about their albums I do have. I will have to check this new album out. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

((waves hand around like a Jedi)) You must go out and buy their CD.
I think I'll go and buy their cd.
Hey, wait a minute... Your jedi tricks don't work on me. But I'll probably buy their cd anyway, just because I want to. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Rb, finally something we can agree on. Anyone with any version of Cinnamon Girl on their playlist is okay in my book. Neil Young is a song writing god. I have never seen anyone transcend self conscious self-hood in the way he did, with Crazy Horse on stage, in the mid eighties. http://hyperrust.org/Face70s.GIF
Finally, someone admits to having anything to do with Scott Wylan. "Velvet Revolver - Fall To Pieces"
More later, inculding my immoral playlist.

Heart Of Steel : Man O War
[/ QUOTE ] Wow, a Manowar reference. One of the best lines in rock, from their song "Kings of Metal": We don't attract women, cause we're too loud.
Interestingly enough, the Beatsteaks do a pretty good cover of "Kings of Metal" on their album Launched.
I'll refrain from posting any of my lists at the moment, since I have better musical taste than all of you. By "better musical taste," I mean that you've never heard of any of the bands I will list, and their obscurity makes them better.
Razorback

Or... no one has ever heard of them because they suck.

I like some diversity in my music, which includes pop. Once you lose touch with one side of the audience you become a stuck up ninny who thinks his version of reality is absolute.
You know, like the people in therapy right now due to this last election. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Yeah, I know her movie sucked balls, but I have been in a Mariah Carey mood the past week or so. Right now, my playlist contains the following by Mariah Carey:
Against All Odds (Yeah, the Phil Collins Song)
Always Be My Baby
Bringing On The Heartache (Yup, her cover of a Def Leppard Song)
Butterfly
Dreamlover
Emotions
Every Time I Close My Eyes
Hero
One Sweet Day
Open Arms (Again, another cover, but of an Air Suply Song)
Whenever You Call
Without You
And the following by Toni Braxton:
How Could An Angel Break My Heart
I Don't Want To
Talking In His Sleep
Unbreak My Heart
You're Makin' Me High

Ratm you have balls for admitting such shamefulness. When I wanna get in touch with my feminine side I have:
Culture Club: Kharma Camelian and Time Won't Give Me Time
TLC: Creep and Unpretty
Monica: Angel Of Myne
Gloria Estefan-Words Get In The Way
Sarah McLaughlin: Adia
Selena: Dreamin Of You
Wheezer covering the Pixies-Veloria
I also have Phil Collins original Against All Odds.
Having divulged such mushiness I think I'll go cry myself to sleep in my huge pillow.

There are a whole bunch more, but I can't remember for the life of me, and my hands are cold in this lonley office.</font color>
