Yeah, theyre never mentioned unless theres a controversy
I recently have been a Vertigo nut
Reading pretty much only Y: The Last Man, 100 Bullets and The Losers
Any other suggestions for new titles?
Keep in mind, I've been turned off super-hero books lately...

If you like Y:TLM, the pick up Brian's book Ex-Machina. It is most excellent.

Cheers
Yeah, love Brian K's work but not mad on Pia
Is it me or are the guest artists on that series often sorely needed?

I think Pia's work is fine for that book, but I do enjoy the artwork more in Ex machina.
That's 'cause Tony Harris is the Man!
I second Ex-Machina, it's a great book. I would also suggest Fables if you want to inject a little fantasy into your life. Bill Willingham is turning a great story there. There are several trades available now, so i would suggest picking up the first one to see if you like it. (you could always go to the book store and read a little of it off the shelf).

I think I will try the "reading it in-store" first thing
Just because I dont trust alot of fantasy books
I am a trade book man by... trade(?)
But I couldnt find an Ex-Machina trade
Are there none out there?

There are only a few issues out so far. I think it's on issue 5 or 6 now. It'll be a trade after Xmas I'd imagine.
But why wait. Drop $12 on the back issues. It's that good man. Ex-Machina is that good.

Shamelessly plugging my review (http://www.fanboyradio.com/columns_view.php?c=37) of Ex Machina and Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men.
Nice little review, and i understand what you mean when you say that the Title/Cover of the books didn't make you want to buy the book. Tony's covers don't really leap off the stands, but man do they look nice. This is his best work in quite a while, i'm hoping it stays around for a long time.

I agree Ex-Machina is good. Brian's work just kinda flows the right way.
Also check out the new 'Authority:Revolutions'...just got done reading the first issue and it's great stuff. Brubaker is good and Dustin Nguyen has always been good.

Resurrecting this one as I bought the first Ex Machina trade back this week
Yeah, really enjoyed it. possibly more-so than Y:TLM
Will be picking up the second trade a.s.a.p.
Been enjoying the new What If's one shots by Marvel lately
I'm still bitter towards alot of their stuff in general but I find that if you look hard enough, quality is still underneath all the bullshit
Anyone found anything new?
I find myself browsing through the unknown titles alot lately

Still buy 'em to this day. they havent lost any of their steam. Course, not quite as shocking and as inventively nasty as they used to be, but they remain funny and subversive.

Lets hear it for this man.
Yeah, love alot of 2000AD stuff
My favourite storyline was the Judgement Day one from about 8-9 years back
Might try and track that down again...

I second Ex-Machina. I also recommend the Amazing Joy Buzzards. THe first arc is out in trade, I think. Fables is great too. Ocean was cool, but I think it just ended.

Cant write of Garth Ennis and er, his mate. Preacher could be the best serious comic ever written.
Movie coming soon, God help us all.

Just finished Issue # 1 of Nextwave. Finger-lickin' good smart-ass fun! Recommended!
Also, I just got the new Buckaroo Banzai preview comic. Yep! The gang are back in an all-new adventure. I think it's the first material out since the movie! I have not read it yet, but I'm excited that it seems to be coming back.

I finished The Big Fat Kill a couple of days ago. I liked the first one better.
I'm going to put a plug in for the newest Hellblazer comic... It's written by Denise Mina (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0316735930/sr=1-1/qid=1138999820/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-8220613-2615122?%5Fencoding=UTF8) whose Scottish Crime novels were kick ass. I have high hopes for the book, and really enjoyed her first issue.

Amazing Joy Buzzards: Rock'n'roll blended with James Bond in a brilliant pop culture smoothie. Very original and tons of fun.
PS 238: The original book about super hero kids. Aaron Williams is a hell of a writer -- this is one of the best comics ever. Don't let the cuteness throw you off. This is one of the only comics I read more than once.
Battle Pope: Just really f'ing funny.
Fantastic Four/Iron Man, Big in Japan: Four issue mini drawn by Seth Fisher, one of the most brilliant and bizarre artists ever. He just passed away at a very early age (fell off a roof), and I can only imagine what more he would have come up with given the chance. Absofuckinlutely brilliant.

Well, I figured if people are posting pictures of me, I'd better keep an eye on this place.
Seriously, everybody check out Seth Fisher's art at www.floweringnose.com (http://www.floweringnose.com). Mindblowing.
