This includes all of these crappy mainstream poppy punk stuff. The world would be a better place and more people would see the goodness of 80s pop. Give me Wham! over Backstreet boys anytime. And we could all listen to real rock and roll about good times and darkness. Or, this is rather utopian, but maybe everyone will love hardcore stuff like Dying Fetus.

What are you talking about? MTV plays music? Really? I know they used to, back in the day. Anyone old enough to remember when they played music 24/7? What a time that was.
Wham is some killer stuff, no doubt. Didn’t they tour with King Diamond and the Butthole Surfers at one point?

Do the Surfer's still make music? When I heard Shame of Life on a trailer for Phone Booth I remembered some of the great music they did.

The last release that I was aware of was Electric Larryland (love that title), but I went to their website and found that they've released two since then: Weird Revolution(2001) and Humpty Dumpty LSD (2002). I haven't heard anything from either. Anyone?
